Scientific studies show that the Titanic wouldn't have sunk from the initial impact with the iceberg. There was a fire in the boiler room that weakened the hull that caused them to buckle upon impact.

Is there any relevance to this story? I'd get it if this were April 2012 and we were remembering those lost after 100 years but this is a football forum. I was waiting for there to be some sort of link to football via a 'never say die attitude' or 'fighting to the bitter end' comment on Spurs' lack of character. But there's nothing. Literally nothing.

I met him down the Guildhall in Portsmouth , he was doing a speech about the Bismarck wreck . His well tall nice bloke I was only about 15 at the time and he signed my Discovery of the Titanic book.
