We'll not agree on this. If you have mutiple facets to your game you can play multiple positions and therefore you have more to your game (of football). In fact it seems obvious to me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well kante can play dm, cm, am probably could do rb too.
Regardless I'd say Bernardo silva has more to his game than ashley young.
Kante is quicker, more agile, better passes statistically, more key passes, more tackles, more interceptions, more goals, more to his game.
Fabinho, like fernandino is good at his role. Basically a good mikel.

I like how neither of you can argue with what nicopopolololopolololopopolopolopopolololopolis said lol
I already have. Take Ashley Young. Awful example as he doesnt do any of them well. He's then thrown in "probably" play rb which is just filler to reinforce a weak point..
It's just my opinion byt Fabinho reached a CL final playing RB. Won another playing DM and overall, where ever he plays he does so well.
I like Kante though.

Also used drogba as an example. Some people just have more to their game. Doesn't take away the skills of said player, but some people, as backed up by the stats have more to their game. James milner, ashley young amongst others have played different positions, doesn't mean they are better or have more skills than someone else. Azpilicueta another example, great at certain things but other players like trent or robertson have more to their game.
Kind of an awkward comparison to draw but I'd rather have Kante. Fabinho's more tactically flexible, has proven he can play just as well in mid 2's & 3's which can't be said for Kante, been a decent RB during his career too. But Kante's such a unique player, very hard to find his combination of aggression, intelligence & energy - for a counter attacking team there's no-one better to have cos he gives you the security of playing a mid 2 without compromising yourself. In Klopp's early years, when they were a full on gegen team, he'd of 100% been their best player.

Multiple facets? 😂 do you watch soccer?
Any player who is versatile still has one position where hr is very good at. A player can adapt to other positions but will not be as good as He is in his natural position.
With the position comes the tactics and instructions, and players get used to position after years of instruction , tactical nouns and training
Anyhoo, you can’t ask Messi to play at right back?
Look at Dier. He’s still gets it horribly wrong as a dm. Not a natural position for him

I watch football and your post is moot in this context mainly because Fabinho is good in multiple positions, that's the point.
Also Jimmy Greaves aint dead.
I have done a bit of research into this and thought the best way to determine who the best DM is is to let the market decide. So I researched the most valuable DMs by price tag. Which is what buys players in football (money) and money talks.
Top 3 DMs in the world:
1. Fred (£52m)
2. Fabinho (£39m)
3. Kante (£32m)
So the results of the study prove that Fabinho is better than Kante. Liverpool friends feel free to use my analysis to back up your arguments. Afterall money doesn't lie.

Right now, of course Fabinho is better than Kante. Fabinho has been our best midfielder and we're 14 points clear.
Stupid to claim otherwise.
How much was Rooney though?
They're both top players, Fab probably the more in form over past 12 months, but Kante was out on his own for 2 seasons.
OMG CAn people stop acting like this is an actual comparison and Kante isn’t clearly the better player ffs?
Torreira is miles better than.both
Kante has 2 premier league titles Flapinho has none and Kante won it with Leicester would Flapinhho be able to do that…...Nope so ergo Kante is 3 times the player that Flapinho is

so it has nothing to do with your defence or keeper just Flapinho.
Writing Flapinho, twice, makes you look an idiot fyi.
