The kids ain’t cutting it. Our form has declined badly. We need to add a couple of players to stop the young players getting too comfortable and add some competition.

I think the players we want aren't available in January or aren't available at a cost we're comfortable with. The three players we've been consistently linked with are Chilwell, sancho and werner and non are realistic in January for me. Hopefully we have learnt from mistakes of the past and are going to wait for the right player not a maybe who can come into the squad now.

You think we’ll get top 4 as we are though?

I'd rather we wait until summer if it means getting really high quality players that we actually want as opposed to overpriced average players that we'll be stuck with long term just to fill places in the squad.

I think no signings will cost us too too 4 which will mean we won’t be able to sign the players we want in the summer anyway

I agree with jp. There’s no point signing a player in January if he’s no better than what we’ve already got. It would be nice if we can get someone in who would make a difference to the first team - but if he’s just going to be another squad player then we might as well wait until the Summer. We’ll have Pulisic back soon, and RLC will feel like a new signing when he’s available. Fingers crossed that’s enough to get us top 4. And if it isn’t it isn’t - an average squad player signing isn’t going to make the difference anyway.

That is also true. Would the likes of Sancho and Werner want to come here without CL football?

I'm hoping we bring in a couple of players, in the attacking positions.

If we get Jose back he will make sure the kids don't get too complacent....hopefully we can get Jose for next season

We need something there. We don’t have that same energy offensively that we had earlier in the season

If we can bring in an attacking player this month that can make a big difference then great. Otherwise we'll have to wait until summer when clubs aren't going to try and rinse us for so so players.

There's no point panic buying this window just to bring in average, overpriced players that probably wouldn't improve our chances of getting top four anyway.

United are signing Bruno Fernandes. Doesn’t seem like they’re getting rinsed and he’s not an average player. He solves one of their biggest issues in midfield and United are the team closest to us and most likely to take our top 4 spot

We can’t get complacent. It’s not unlikely that this squad as it is won’t finish top 4. We had a purple patch around October which skews perception of how good this team actually is.
