There not a great crop and most are miles are away from being good enough and never will be.
People need to remember the u23 arent in a good league.
if you are good enough age means not a jot
And there not good enough at this moment
If a player isn't around the 1st team squad at 19-20 they ain't going to make it,
The lack of talented strikers coming out of Leeds is a serious worry. We produce plenty of tiny midfielderd and bany faced full backs, but the last 2 forwards produced have been Wilkes and Poleon I believe.

Like Poveda.....
Orta and his scouting team are given the task of finding talented youth from abroad, bringing them into the youth team, so maybe Radz can make a profit. Orta is about as successful at this as he is finding first teamers
“After the summer transfer market we are really happy that I think we improved the squad, keeping the economical restrictions. This is not really easy with the politics of loans but the situation we needed to assume this summer.
“With the rules of financial fair play we cannot afford a permanent transfer, but we are really happy if you can make good loans it can be a good strategy. And in the past a lot of teams have been promoted with a good loan policy."
This was from teh summer, we cannot afford a permanent transfer.
“Investment in a scouting department never has a ceiling. You can change the reality of the club in respect of this situation.”
Maybe if the investment in the scouting set up WAS limited, we'd have more money to sign the actual players.

i mean from other clubs
I wonder, has any team been promoted from Championship without signing any permanent players in a summer window?

Poveda has trained with the City senior squad and played first team football for them. Not sure what the complaint here is, unless it's based on general ignorance
I would think Man city have a million players good enough for the championship, but if you are at Leeds you should be in the squad at 19-20.
Maybe true, but not absolutely. Some players bloom late. Others need to take the step back and work their way back up the leagues. Not a precise science.
Ken Radrizanni actually said he was looking for a club to make profit on young players. This is his way.
