Top player when he wanted to be, and my favourite Spurs player for about 4 years.
Sad it’s had to end this way, still thanks for the good times Christian.
One of the best spurs players of the last decade, clearly mentally checked out this season and tbh based on the amount of football he has played already in his career I think there's an argument to be made that he's already on the decline physically.
Shame it ended on a sour note but a truly great player and the most important member of the best spurs team I've ever seen

He was miserable and it was rubbing off on everyone.
Spurs will find it very, very difficult to replace Eriksen. He will be a huge loss. Quality players don`t come along like him very often.
Probably have to go for more pragmatic stuff now, just get in a few midfield bruisers to complement the players already there, and grind out the results. Not a bad way forward.

It's a new challenge and change of scenery. He'll get more than double his wages and Inter Milan are looking to challenge Juventus all the way for the title.
I think Spurs have been really stale and a toxic environment. We improved massively under Pochettino and that was enough for the board it seemed. We never pushed on and invested to see how far that team could go.
Always missing 2 or 3 quality signings to give us that extra depth over the course of the season and keep our best players fresh. After giving it their all and build a team bond things like the 18 months period of zero activity hurt us and players/ staff mental commitment.
£260,000 per week plus add-ons Crazy money.
