I just hope he doesn't see it as a choice of being supplied by Grealish or Pereira or we're done for!
Giroud is a good player no where near as bad as everyone makes out , I'd be happy to see him at Spurs.
Because Giroud is shiiiiiiiit.

Giroud is good in the air. Jose will have the team play to his strengths.
But the one I find most baffling is why have neither of these clubs looked at somebody like Giroud?
......
I have no idea why you would find that baffling. He can’t get a game for Chelsea and they are light on strikers.

Na, fck Giroud, if Utd cannot get better than that big poser then we're fcked, he flatters to deceive.
Cavani however would be superb, 18 month contract whatever the cost would be WELL worth it imo? Each to their own opinion however?
Why would Spurs want a player that both Arsenal and Chelsea let go?

Why spend £30m on Piatek who has struggled at Milan when you could get Giroud for peanuts in nowadays market who is full of experience at this level and would play to Mourinho's strengths?
Who knows why Lampard doesn't want him at Chelsea, but that doesn't mean to say he's a bad option and like I've said imo he's probably the best back up striker most top clubs are going to get that would be content in that role.

Just seems he doesn't fit to what Lampard wants. Like I've said above, that doesn't make him a bad player because he is out of favour. Seems a relatively risk free move to get him on the cheap for 18 months and I think he'd prove a very reliable option.
Giroud has never been reliable.
Everyone laughs i would love Ighalo. Not sure he would fit our system but as a forward really like him and he can find the net.
I have zero faith our scouts will find the right CF

Giroud has never been reliable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He scores a goal every 0.35 games. For a back up striker, a goal every 3 games roughly I'd say is a pretty decent option to have. Based off them stats alone, he would score 13.3 goals if he started 38 games. Not too bad.
Fair enough, not been great over the last couple of seasons but has never been given the chance and in United's or Spurs' team I'd think he would get a good run of games if he stays fit.
But if you don't think he's reliable then go spend another £150m+ on average players in the summer, because that's worked out well for United. Recruitment is one of United's biggest issues and they have a chance of an experienced striker for next to nothing and are banking on a teenager Greenwood at the moment.
Giroud has scored five premier league goals since he’s been at Chelsea. Mason Greenwood has four this season.
He wouldn’t get in either as he’s not good enough. He’s never been a reliable striker, he used to go months on end without scoring for Arsenal when he was regularly starting as well.
I actually would have taken him a few years ago. Whilst he was never prolific, his link up play was very good and he'd still weigh in with his fair share of goals. However, I think his best days are behind him. And his major goal threat was always from runs to the near post. I don't think he has the pace (lost what little he did have) to make those runs untracked any longer. And I know we don't have the players to get the delivery right anyway

He has barely been given a chance at Chelsea, especially this season so it is difficult to judge and I did also mention that his last couple of seasons haven't been great, but he hasn't had enough opportunity.
He would get into both right now imo because neither have a recognised striker really with any sort of experience to compete at the level they want to be playing. I agree that he has dropped off the last couple of seasons but I do feel if he gets a good 4/5 games in either side he could be a good asset.
Not saying he is going to be a star player, but as I've said, a low risk, low price player who would be a useful player for either side at the moment.
He doesn’t get a chance because when he plays he’s a statue that can’t score. Martial is much better than him. So is Son up front.
