Wonder if Dalot will be on the wing or it's 3 at the back

Strong side that, had a walk past Prenton Park earlier and it was starting to get quite busy.

Maybe it’s five at the back plus a DM to cope with their attacking threat.

Didn’t really expect Martial to start.

Is there really a need to play Martial in this one?

If we lose him too Ole will have a lot to answer for.

I was wondering whether we need three centre backs but I can only presume Ole thinks they'll go long and that we need a tallish team back there. As long as Shaw and Dalot get forward plenty that should be OK.

Good to see Dalot and I hope Bailly gets some action.

3 at the back.

If we get the Fernandes deal through and Pogba returns anytime soon, I suspect we'll be seeing a lot more of it in Rashford's absence

Sign of how shiyte we’re playing having to field a team as strong as that today!

Both our only forwards starting on that pitch.

Hopefully we can get it won and bring one off.

Controversial but if I were Ole I would play a complete second string against Tranmere and City.

if we crash out to Tranmere with second string team, it would be painful but we'd get over it. The FA cup needs to be sacrificed. We will likely lose against City anyways so rest the squad.

Go all out to win at wolves next weekend and then take the 16 day break till our next game to get players rested and freshened up.

But no. We got to play a strong team every facking game don't we Ole.

We need a strong end to the season, but just like last season we will probably fade away due to tiredness and injuries.

Looking at the fixtures if we can get through February still around six points from top 4 the run in looks OK (on paper) if we can get all our players back and some extra creativity.

We need to have a sweep, how long before Macmanaman says “it’s hard to tell who’s the league one side and who’s the premier league team Fletch”

He'll also say 'nice' loads of times too.

Hopefully Martial and Greenwood get through the game without injury.

Ignoring everybody's favourite comedy duo Jesse and Andreas, do we really need to play 5 at the back away to Tranmere? Does Jones really need to be one of the 3? Is Bailly on the bench (he is)? Why, just why?!

Is Gomes injured??

He said something the other day about Liverpool ladies playing on this pitch so he will work this is as well

Odd Gomez ain’t even on the bench. Or that we chose Shaw and Lingard over him as an impact sub midweek.

Worrying if he's not, would have expected him to have been involved today. Thought there had been some encouraging stories about a new contract being sorted out with earlier in the week.

I can only think it's three at the back to cope with aeriel threats or because we're really short in central midfield. Otherwise there should really be no need. I'd have certainly rested Maguire at least.

Probably to save using Fred and maybe help their shietty record with set pieces

Probably just survival for Ole, if we go out today it could be a tipping point

Odds we still concede from a set piece?
