My work/office is mainly female orientated so I have to endure all the crap that comes with Love Island or other topics.
"I just ignore it and have a laugh/attempt to join when I can." This is pretty much what I do. Silly suggestion to censor conversation topics at work.
Heed'll soon be signing you up to the club of the bloody obvious.
BBC love cramming woman's football down men's throats though, thus BBC will protect us. Football talk in the workplace is very much a national identity ffs.

Eh?
Right. Can’t talk to them about football.
Can’t tell them your want to sniff the pattern out of their knickers.
What else does that leave us?

It's also incredibly sexist to suggest women don't follow football or sport.
The three women that suit closest to me in the office are all football fans, one of their sons plays for Caley and they're always involved in football/sport chat.
This woman who came out with this nonsense seems like she's wound up too tight.
I did consider an OP to be fair but wasn't sure it merited it?

Another idiot in a non job with a huge chip on their shoulder telling normal people how to live their lives. These morons should be fired and labelled as unemployable.

Why not?
Patter on here is stale most days. Usually revolves around the weekend's football until that's been discussed to death.
Then it's just days of nothing, stupid attempts at wind ups, or which Spice Girl you'd still pump.

You know they only publish trigger bait because those who are easily triggered, are easily triggered. If you ignored, it wouldn't exist. You're creating the problem without realising it. It's a fun circle of triggerness.
Nothing up with talking football in work..🤔

I'd let Jim do awful things to me to listen to one of his sisters fart down a phone line to me
I have no desire to discuss football at work today so all for trialling this ban for a week

I drove to work with a big smile, how odd
Mind you I stayed up with my youngest for the Royal Rumble and it was the best one for years
My eldest's team beat a Rangers affiliated boys team on Saturday and he was terrific
Celtic beat Ross County
Hearts won
so all in all a good weekend

B*witched - no thanks, and wouldn't have touched any at the time
Oh nearly forgot sugababes, again the big redhead was amazing. Lost count though of the rest of them
