Football is a lot more complex than put a goal scorer into a side and you will score more goals. That’s the beauty of the game.

You don't say.

‘I would argue if we had an out and out goal scorer in the team we would score more goals.‘ don’t get sarcastic

With Poveda and Agustin available for this one, and Roberts and Shacks back in the fray, the bench will be interesting.
Assuming Bielsa plays to form, we have Kiko in goal, then Dallas, Ayling, Coops and probably Douglas.
White will sit in front of the defence. In midfield, Pablo, Klich, Costa and Harrison, with Bamford up front. On the bench,Shacks and Roberts will be there, Meslier too. Poveda, Alioski and Bera will also be in the there, leaving one more space. Stevens, Gotts or Agustin. The only option is Agustin, because if Bamford is misfiring, who else is there, especially if we are 0-0, or a goal down with 20 to go? I think we could see him make his debut tonight.

complete agree with LIW and faith.

Eddie 'magnus ver magnussen' Nketiah simply wasn't good enough for our system..

like I've said in the past, stikc him next to a big old style number 9 in a 442 and he'd be brilliant

The thing about our style of play is the attack is based around dragging players out of position. And we are unbelievably good at it for a Championship side. Probably the best there has been at this level. But there is a very easy way to negate that attack. Which is to not worry about picking up individuals and just sit deep with a very low press.

At the highest level this doesn’t work because exceptional players will always beat the low press. The trouble is we are Championship and players at this level find it much more difficult to work in such compact spaces. Sides play the percentage game against us and hope we are in efficient with half chances and sloppy when they hit us the break. Too often it has worked but it’s understandable why it works at this level

With Eddie he didn't fit Bielsa's way, Bielsa even said that, but his Boss says he's very happy with the way things went at Leeds, he's said even though Eddie didn't get much first team play he's learnt a lot under Bielsa and because of that he's stopped him going elsewhere!..

I think Eddie is a better player now than before he came to us, its just he wasn't a player for the Bielsa way, good luck to the kid I hope he does well in the future!..

I wish Eddie nothing but the best, apart from against us of course.

For whatever reason it didn't quite work out with us, probably for a combination of reasons.

I thought the comment by Havefaith was pretty good, not patronising at all. That's the trouble with social media I guess, it often leads to mixed interpretation of a thought/sentiment.

I don’t mind what Cal said at all. Sorry he took it that way but it’s not a big deal. I’m sure he’s got on with his day just fine.

I’m glad we are talking about football and actually discussing the game and not speculating on whether AR dropped litter back in ‘97 and why that probably means he should be nowhere near the club.

Much prefer to talk about the game and what works and what doesn’t and gain from it then bleeding gossip

If Eddie wasn’t right for us why did we sign him.

2 matches coming up now that are as close as you can get to 6 points.

Anything less than 3 points v milwall is a big setback.

What are we thinking for the score tonight? Had a browse at a Millwall forum and they are ridiculously confident - hopefully we can ram their confidence back down their throats.

If we are going up, we need to overcome pretenders - Millwall are in good form, but as we always hear, form is temporary - let's improve ours and dent theirs.

3-1 Leeds.

Not confident. White in the KP role, right?
Just have a feeling that our sh * . TE form
will keep on spiraling.

Because the club thought we needed a different option off the bench and that Eddie would offer that. They also obviously thought he would fit better than he did.

Do you expect every signing to work?

It’s obvious why we signed him. It just didn’t work. Learn from it and try not to make the same mistake again.

Well to premature, we could win tonight and then get beat by Forest and Brentford which looks likely. We have Wigan Saturday at home and that's a psychological challenge itself.

We should have a very good idea in 4 or 5 games. They are so important for our season. And all the more frustrating that Phillips did what he did and misses 3 of them

If we fook up again, will KP become this season's Berardi scapegoat?

every single signing is a gamble, players may not settle as quick as wanted, get injured or just wrong
