I think I am right in saying that historically, Derby teams have been at their best when fielding a contingent of at least two or three Scots

I think he means a trip to Luton for the first time..... Tommo?
Must be those 5th years again?
They weren't rock bottom Luton when we faced them at PP. At least I don't think they were.
A great chance to get an away win.

Martin Marriott
would be my team but I reckon Lawrence and Waghorn will play instead of Martin and Marriott..
I am amazed that many still want Marriott to be a first choice striker after seeing his performances this season. Last season I was impressed with his work rate and ability to convert half chances in the box. This season he is still working hard but he is a long way off the player he was last season. His 4 misses against Barnsley verged on the criminal. The substitute at Shrewsbury showed more composure in a one to one position than Marriott. He needs to get himself match sharp with a spell in the U23s before he is let loose in the first team. Hoping he will suddenly come good is not a great strategy.
I agree with that Spart but he has shown previously that he is a good finisher. Waghorn has always been a player who misses a significant proportion of chances. With Martin we have no pace up front and Marriott does at least have the promise of a bit of threat. We aren't exactly spoiled for choice in that department. Whittaker isn't ready and unless Cocu is suddenly going to chuck in Hector-Ingram we have limited options.
I agree with your team Vidal.
Any one seen the Adil Rami rumour?
Chris Coles was talking about this last night on the moan-in saying it could be worth a cheeky bid, as he'd been sacked by Marsielle for feiging injury to appear on Fort Boyard.
Sound like our kind of guy.
RD could well be the source of the rumour as The DET would probably use one of us as a source if we made something meaty up, probably citing informed social medial sources or some such.
Apparently he's at Fenerbache at the moment but not featured much. 34 too.
Our scouting team needs dissolving and recreating if this is what they've come up with.
We require a team for the coming seasons, the Tomori situation left a big gap to fill given his performances and we didn't have anyone in our squad ( perm. players ) to offer a similar quality. We've already got three players over 32+ and really don't require a fourth.
I consider this a BS rumour to excite a younger generation maybe, but we really need to be looking in the 21-23 age bracket for permanent players.
Difficult to see what's in it for him. Why finish your career at a provincial championship club?
He's just split up with Pamela Anderson maybe that's it and he want's to swap The Riviera for Derbyshire.
He'll go to America or Palace.
Sometimes I wonder what they are up to at The DET, it seems they'll publish anything for the purposes of getting you to look at the adverts that pay they're wages.
Wouldn't be surprised if we end up with zero recruitments in Jan window.
No investment anticipated anytime soon.
Maybe recruitment in the summer will give us better options. Allows us to clear all the players no longer required. If we do end up losing all the players out of contract I do wonder how that'll affect FFP and if Mel plans to tie players down on short term deals again?

It's definitely gone downhill in recent years for as you say Rameses.
Some of the attention seeking articles are ridiculous
CELTIC MANAGER SPEAKS OUT
'Celtic boss refuses to be drawn on speculation linking Filip Benkovic with a move'
So he's actually said nothing.
Twas always so. I remember a headline in the 1970s in the Ripley and Heanor News. "NO STREAKERS IN RIPLEY YET". So the lead headline was nothing had happened.

I trust you obliged Spart?
I've got a feeling that not many are bothered about tonight. I have just read that the game is on the red button, if anyone can be bothered. I think I might.
I thought it wasn't but pleased to her otherwise - in which case you can look forward to top informed commentary.....
