Very crisp passer in general. Quite happy to fizz 30 yards passes on the deck across midfield instead of tapping it 5 yards to DM or CB

Lingard is absolutely pointless you’d get more use out of decking Carrick on that pitch

Good tactics from Pep so far, we can’t pick them up. Seem to always have a spare man. Ole needs to react. Their back line can be got at with a couple of decent passes but we need to win it back and release it faster, also requires a striker to constantly be on his toes making runs that 9/10 times he won’t get the ball for, but keep making them for the 1 that does come. Martial won’t offer that’s he’s hardly moved yet.

This is bit like Tranmere vs Utd.

True. It’s all down to the quality. They give you those options to play different ways.
This UTD team, not so much. But it’s frustrating because I believe they can play, we’ve seen them when their tails are up. So they can do it.
