Yep agreed
Just need to be patient with Ndombele and not run him into the ground as he gets fit
Don Think Spurs can definitely upgrade on Winks, he is no more than very average.

Eventually sandy, but at the moment he’s one of our best options. Rather have Winksy than Sissoko mate.
Winks was our best player against City.
I think Winks is improving all the time, however I also think Sissoko gives us a strength in the middle of the park we are currently lacking
Winks needs to play like that every game. Defensively he was superb

NOOOO
Alright having strength of you can use the ball well(Dembele for example) however Sissoko cannot and hides from possession. Look at the best teams in the league, no have strength in midfield. Tenacity, energy and passing ability.

NDombele has hardly been ‘run into the ground’🤣

For his standards I'd said he was

Hes a very good player, get off his case Sandy, sometimes I wonder if you do watch the games
I'm all about us trying a 433 but it does leave a question mark over Dele. Yes his form has been patchy, but both Poch and Jose have played him in pretty well every game when he's fit.

I’d say the pre season run him into the ground. Just what he said about how hard it was compared to anything he’s done before.
Obviously his muscles wasn’t used to that strain and the way he twist and turns in matches they weren’t in good condition

Yeah strange one, hard to see where to fit him in the first XI
Think Jose will still stay with the 4231 with Winks and GLC in the pivot.
Players like Lamela, Dier and obviously wanyama, are very redundant now tbh. I like Lamela but his injuries are a joke and we are fully stacked in attacking midfield/wide forwards.

Can even had Sissoko to the above with Gedson, Ndombele in the squad and a DM required.
Winks is all sideways and backwards. One good run at the weekend, and he is suddenly the best player ever according to some of our fans.

Literally one of the highest scoring forward and progressive passer in Europe for his position
I think the par for Winks is what we saw on Sunday. He's had a tough run with the fans and was often a scapegoat for poor performances while playing alongside Dier and Eriksen in midfield.
There's not much he can do if he's tasked with covering the back 4, making runs from deep, and finding runners all on his own.. now he's got GLC to lighten the load and Hugo has settled the backline it's back to normal service.

Cant pass forward if no runners, keep the ball moving is the key
Ndombele and Lo Celso
I agree with Don's front 6, that's a hell of a midfield/attack. Things looking on the up.
