Can you actually say, with all those millions spent, Spurs haven't won the league for more than half a century...
It must be so painful living in Arsenal's shadows... God knows how long.
Maybe if they use Lego it will be a lot cheaper.
PS: Olympic Stadium = 60,000
Tin Pot Lane = 34,000. Or something like that. Too small and insignificant for me to bother remembering.
Oh so because Arsenal won yesterday & West Ham lost, to Ipswich on Tuesday, you're now using the Arsenal card.
West Ham = Lower League club. FACT!
Spurs = One of the Top 5 clubs in the top flight. FACT!
Long may it continue.
Playing in Thursday cup doesn't make you a top 5 club.
I know, but finishing 5th, does.
Can you name the other 4 clubs?
What the 4 who finished above us last season? Of course.
Can you name the team who finished rock bottom of the league?
3 seasons back Fulham are finished above Spurs.. by your logic Fulham are top 7 clubs and Spurs aren't..
But Fulham didnt finish above Spurs.
Who finished rock bottom, Mafia? You cant bring yourself to say it can you?
With all those millions spent and forking out 65 quid for a ticket you must be proud with those 2 mickey mouse cups in the last two decades.
Remember - FIRST brick
I'm proud of all the trophies my club have put in our cabinet. Football is as much about the future as it is the past. And the future looks bright. Just look at the players we have & how much value they bring in terms of assets to the club, Modric (in excess of £40m), Bale (£50m, easy), Sandro (£30m), VdV (£25m), Parker (easily worth £10m now he's at a top club), Lennon (£25m), Walker (£25m), the list is endless.
Who finished bottom of the Premiership last season?
25 million for Lemon.......
West Ham have a good Championship side and I would back them for a play off place, if (a big if) they can stop the habit of letting in the late goals and get on a run then an automatic place should be theirs.
It's way to early to make more then a guess at present, but mine would be anywhere between 1st and 8th place, top 6 if they stop shipping the late goals.
I hear Spurs are planning to redevelop the transport links around TPL. Does that mean that there'll now be two buses an hour instead of one?
Hello T K o T,
I was out with a West Ham fan pal of mine last night, who is worried about the lack of pace West Ham have when both Noble & Nolan play, and he reckons this could be their downfall.
Downfall? Like 4-0 away wins?
No, like narrow defeats & draws, with conceding goals in the last minutes. Its happened at least 3 times already, Cardiff, Leeds & Ipswich.
FACT!
If narrow defeat and conceding late goals is a downfall then what about 5-1 thumping at home?
What about it? 5-1 is a thumping, i admit that. I dont see your point.
All i said was that a West Ham pal of mine said Noble & Nolan are too slow & that could be West Ham's downfall.
5-1 isn't acceptable but that was before Harry made 2 signings to sort it out, 3 if you want to include keeping hold of Modric & him returning to form.
Since then, 3 league wins out of 3. Happy days.
City and United are miles ahead of us! no question!
We lost fair and square to both teams
Exactly what Thudd said. We lost fair & square to the 2 teams we would rate above us.
Same as West Ham losing to Cardiff & Ipswich i suppose.
Thudd,
Can you address him properly please?
It's Lee, ex-hammer, life long West Ham fan, Bowyer.
