There might be something to this after all...
@ian_tellyes9m Juventus have tentatively approached Neil Fewings and are preparing a summer bid for Van Dyke who’s currently in negotiations over an extended deal. North of 425k a week wages on offer, with Juventus hoping to offset transfer fee with Dybala whom Klopp is a long term admirer, given his ability to break down packed defences.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh my, the good old swap deal, the true bastion of the transfer rumour mill
Juve wouldn’t offer him more than us in wages, and i don’t think they could afford him as he’d be north of 200 million. And the player would have to push for a move which, hey maybe he would, but the price i think only PSG, Madrid and maybe Barca could afford, oh and city.
Just not going to happen. I could maybe see Salah wanting to get a switch somewhere like Madrid
VVD is not going anywhere before the end of season 2022.

Imagine if he did go, how long before their fans start saying “Lovren is better anyway”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When he ain’t dreaming of cake it’s wishing VVD wasn’t playing for Liverpool...
State of this manic manc tubster
I honestly believe he’s worth in excess of £200m
And personally, I wouldn’t accept any offer as he’s irreplaceable.
VVD always dreamed of playing in the PL and at Liverpool (his 'dream club'. The lad relishes the high tempo, battling it out against the lumbering strikers an playing in front of a roaring crowd. He aint going anywhere soon unless Brexit turns out really sh1tty or everybody starts playing with a false 9...
In his prime years for the next few years would probably be able to play until his 50s in that italian pub league like a lot of their defenders do.
@Jim_Cocklord12m Van Dyke contract extension negotiations in stalemate. Wasserman’s Neil Fewings asking for 325k a week for client Van Dyke, FSG won’t meet. Juventus willing to pay 400k or more to partner with long term buy De Ligt.
vvd could well be the most complete CB in the history of football. His influence is for all to see. He's priceless and it's highly unlikely that he will leave for a few reasons:
a) If he was hungry for money he wouldn't be on his current pay - which is relatively very low for a worldclass player.
b) The environment and the coach are extremely important aspects. Those were his words. He's thriving in a familiar surrounding with people he likes.
c) With all due respect but the Serie A is not an elite league anymore. It would mean a downgrade to leave. He wants to test himself against the best. (PS He already dominated Ronaldo multiple times in duels).
d) Van the man never expressed interest to play in the Serie A

No way Liverpool will sell their prize asset.
He is probably the worlds best cb, so...
If the money’s good vvd will be considering going out on a high, he will ask has this team peaked? Who knows? He will ask, if I stay, and the other teams sort themselves out properly and progress in their rebuilds to a competitive state... , will we still win? Or could I become a legend by exiting before it falls apart?
They won’t sell, but he will wonder the above questions.

After turning down Man City to make sure he signs for Liverpool and about to sign a contract extension, it’s not LFC in turmoil... it’s those that have to seek solace in the wares of Sara Lee that are.
Is he worth it? Yes, and probably more, bearing in mind the ludicrous payment made by PSG for Neymar’s transfer there, and look at the blinding success he’s been there, injured after another night on the lash and constantly pushing for a return to the Spanish clubs.
Is he going? As said above, very happy where he is apparently.
Has the story got legs? Come on, be serious. This has all the hallmarks of thieving agents trying to generate money for themselves.
Why should he relegate himself to a lesser team when he the No.1choice for that position in his current one?
Giving hope to rival fans only to have it brutally snatched away at the last second. Why would VVD take a step down to join Juventus?

VVD last week admitted: “I’m 28 now and I want to fulfil every dream I ever had.
“Life can be short. Your career can be short as well.
“I’m enjoying playing with this team and this manager. We can’t look too far ahead. But right now, I’m enjoying it.”
don't fall into that naive trap of believing every player you have sees you as their ultimate destination, foreigners in particular have some weird goals about countries and clubs they want to play for.
They also, as VVD said there, have short careers, they do like capitalizing on their worth for the few top years they have, Liverpool aren't a huge wager player in comparison to some in Europe and the north f England is hardly paradise to these folks either.
Its new contract time. Why would you fall for this sheet?

Stop preaching TD Jakes. Its not about VVD alone. Liverpool must agree which will never happen, unless they're paying 300m.
Also, your quotes suggest he wants to fulfil all his dreams at Liverpool, not at another club. Thanks for that
