Mctominay hasn’t taken us to the lofty heights of anything and is a squad level player for a team competing for honours. Pogba was the main reason we had that good spell under pogba and contributed most of our goals and assists and chances. He’s been poorly managed anyway and started the season so deep and why I’ll never know?? Mctominay shows grit and determination but the quality isnt there and he wouldn’t attract a good fee or be able to play in any other major side. Pogba when he is sold will go for a big fee and play for a top team whether it’s juve or Madrid. There is no chance mctominay would get any interest from sides of that level.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he wasn’t. When he’s up for it he can be good, the whole team was on a boost then, which he needs to to do his thing. He was good but never dominated games. He has a special ability for a killer pass, it’s his greatest my talent, and it’s a really good one, but that’s offset by bad or wayward defensive discipline and tactical awareness. Mct was awesome in that game vs PSG, where was Pogba that night?
Pogba is a special talent when he’s (Rarely) up for it, and the team are too, but don’t count on him to control games, or lead by example. There a myth about him being our most important player, he’s not.

Pogba shouldn’t be there to control games and any idiot who thinks he can do this is dumber than they look. He should be there to create those key chances and make those killer passes which we have badly needed. Any chance of champions league football this season will be due to pogba returning as we lack creativity badly. Pogba can score goals and create chances for fun and that’s what’s needed
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And that’s what he’s good at, when he can be bothered. But..
He’s been used by successive managers as a part of a deep 2. He’s poor or wasted there. Playing him there you make his best attribute harder to to pull off. And you also make him responsible for controlling games and breaking up play, both of which he’s not very good at.
In a 3 at times, a bit better, but still hasn’t really worked that well. Probably his best position, but he seemingly doesn’t fulfill his talent. Whether down to movement around him....
Not like he needs time to acclimatise. He’s been here for ages now, he was trained by this club for years.
But seemingly no one really knows how to use him. Is that the club, the managers, or him?

he can be genuinely injured and wants to leave as well it's not either or
but he's exactly the kind of player Ed is looking to spend Galzer's money on.
....
I think Ed has been given a final warning from the Glazers to sort this mess out.
Without the fans protest during the Burnley game and the threat of the walkout at minute 58 v Wolves, Ed would not have bought anyone in the window.

I’d like to hope so VC but I think Ed is almost immune from sacking whilst they are owners.
It was a 68th minute walkout, not 58th
Not convinced there was a plan to the walkout vs Burnley. Everybody left early because it was just rubbish.
This is the problem. Supporters will protest against results but not the bigger picture (ie the owners and the CEO's administration of the club from top to bottom... (which I and many believe cause the poor performances that we frequently see on the pitch)
The timing of the walkout vs Wolves came at a key moment in the game.. in was 0-0 and we were pressing hard for the breakthrough. So we all stayed put, totally occupied by the cut and thrust of the game. Walking out didn't cross our minds.
However if we were losing vs Wolves at that time and it looked hopeless.. I am pretty sure that many, many of us would have got up and left our seats.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The one I saw on here was the 58th minute. It was why people were not keen on the idea.
So shut the eff up, you cretin.
It was to be 58 mins originally but lots of people objected beforehand due to the fact that it was the actual Munich memorial game... So at 58 mins instead, everybody and I mean everybody, stood up and applauded for 2 mins.
The walkout was hastily re-arranged by the powers that be for 68 mins of which nobody whatsoever participated in. Like I say, if we were losing like the Burnley game, I am sure many would have walked at 68 (down to the concourses if nothing else and watched the rest on the TV.s.. which would have caused chaos).
Also as the match-time clocks on both the 2 screens at OT countdown during each half from 45 to zero... so it isn't obvious when the 68th minute was up, unless you had worked it out beforehand. It would of course been when the clocks counted down to 22 mins in the second half. Too confusing for many football fans!
Not convinced there was a plan to the walkout vs Burnley. Everybody left early because it was just rubbish.
.....
It was the fans protest during the game that was directly aimed at Ed and the Glazers.
It made the mainstream media outlets here in the USA. There was no way on earth the Glazers didn’t see it.

I’m curious VC’, as someone who lives in America, what do you think of their news networks, ie Fox? Is it as blatantly biased as it seems?
Like I say I was at the Burnley game and it had emptied by the final whistle. But we and all around us weren't aware that there was a an organised protest going on that day... it was just sooooo 5hite rainy and cold people just gave up and went home.
If it came across as a protest especially on US telly then I am happy to have been part of that.
Strange that the actual official protest vs Wolves actually came to nothing. But this is what we all need to do to change anything imo.

I’ve watched quite a bit of Fox back when I was in England and used to laugh at how unashamedly right leaning it was. It is everything people level at it. But I don’t think it’s anymore right leaning than CNN
Is left leaning
As long as people know what they’re watching is what it is then for me it’s better than state run TV which doesn’t give you a choice in what you want to see

Fox News is like the Sun on steroids. It’s viewership are so moronic that they have no clue they are being lied to.
It is quite comical when they interview someone and they don’t say what they are hoping.
For some good viewing look for Trevor Noah on YouTube. He has a guy go round Trump rallies interviewing these morons and deliberately making them look more stupid.
