Ancelotti. Everton have picked up the most points after Liverpool, since he came in.

Jose of course, 5th in the Prem, 5th Round FA Cup, last 16 of the CL.

Currently, it's Ancelotti.

Who will do better in the long-term? I guess we'll see.

No one has taken more points than Everton (other than Liverpool) since Ancelotti came in so it has to be him really. Everton were also in absolute dire form when he came in and amusingly in the bottom three.

Let's look at the facts:

Everton:

Players: £100m players like Richarlison who Barca are after

Stadium: Classic stadium with great atmosphere

Fans: Good positive supportive fanbase

Position: 7th

Overall Ancelotti has had it easy there.

Spurs:

Players: Winks, Dier, Sissoko etc, some of the worst players in the league if not world

Stadium: soulless corporate American football stadium with no atmosphere

Fans: Really awful fans, both individually and collectively.

Position:

6th.

Mourinho working wonders with limited resources.

I just did some analysis in excel as well to decide once and for all who is better by sorting the clubs' positions in the table from highest to lowest using the sort function in excel and it said that 6th is higher than 7th. It's pretty conclusive.

Don't forget that Everton lost to Liverpool reserves under Ancelotti.

This a question that can't be answered yet especially when you look at Evertons next few games.

Evertons fixtures have been a cakewalk since carlo came tbf but can only play what is in front of you

Carlo.

That everton side are abysmal.

Just based on PL it will be Carlo but he did lose in the FA cup to our youth side while Spurs could finish top 4 and maybe even the unthinkable which is to win a cup.

Ancelotti's Everton have faced:

Arsenal(h) (Not sure he was even in charge at this point)
Burnley(h)
NUFC(a)
Man City(a)
BHA (h)
WHU (a)
NUFC (h)
Watford (a)
Palace (h)

so not exactly a testing set of fixture so far under him. Basically 6 bottom half teams, Man City and Arsenal.

Jose's Spurs have faced City Liverpool Chelsea Wolves and Utd in his time (12 league games).

Havent watched EFC under him so cannot comment on how well they appear to be playing. Results are decent - 2 pts per game is solid top 4 form - but it has been largely against the weaker teams.

It's a no brainer. Didn't Ancelotti lose to Liverpool reserves.

There have been more Flopinho articles than AnceFloppi articles

Carlo wins

Flopinho can't even beat Shrewsbury.

A better article or if I could correct myself a better sharticle would be a comparison between Ole and Arteta
Is making an ex club player manager can succeed?

I might be wrong but were Emery and Silva both dismissed at the same time. Amazing Arsenal didn't appoint Ancelotti. The guy is a serial winner.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He's done well so far, but I still have reservations over his ability to oversee a project on a budget and with a heavily unbalanced squad.

Let's see the impact he will have long-term.

Personally, I didn't want him at Arsenal because I don't believe he's the type of manager who can rebuild a squad from a low point.

Maybe he'll prove me wrong in hindsight, but I'm not exactly raging he didn't come to us.

I didn't think the carlo appointment made sense at the time and I'm still skeptical tbh but he's done well so far

Aren't Everton being bankrolled by one of your ex shareholders? There's some dodgy dealings going on at that club.

Mourinho has taken a better squad from 14th to 6th in 3 months.

Ancelotti has taken a worse squad from 18th to 7th in 2 months.

Ancelotti imo. He has taken Everton from a relegation battle and has solidified them and now they look like a decent side. With a few more recruitments in the summer and over the 12/18 months, Everton may become the Leicester of this season imo.

Mourinho hasn't done too badly either imo. Say what you want about style of play and some results, but he's also had good results, e.g. Man City, regardless of the performances. Although he has failed to capitalise on the poor form Chelsea have demonstrated over the last couple of months and hasn't been able to break away from the other inconsistent sides, like United and Wolves, either. I'd reserve judgement until he has been properly backed in the summer. Judge him around Christmas time next year imo.

It’s 50:50 split for me.

You would need to judge at end of season, maybe this time next year to make an honest assessment.

Like Jose, he winds up the RS and they hate him for being a winner who isn’t a good manager

i'd say ancelotti has improved everton more than jose has improved tottenham because jose really hasn't improved you. the loss for city was self inflicted. pep is confused. even though i think mourinio is finished as a top manager it's not fair to asses him without time to bring his own players in. having said that he looked terrible at united, his easy road europa win papered over some really bad managing.
