I think Jan is done now. Love to keep him for another year or two, but realistically, he has declined rapidly the last year and doesn't look like he can cope with the pace of the PL.

Gutted for him.

It is really bizarre, usually you'd expect a player to decline gradually as they age, but he's gone from MotM against Dortmund playing as a dynamic left back... to absolutely shot, in the space of a year. He's not even that old at 32.

Presumably there's some sort of deep-seated injury issue that's really messed him up, otherwise I can't see why he'd fall off a cliff so abruptly.

I think playing at left back has killed him. There might also be other issues at play here

well all of us with half a footballing brain know we dont have a competent DM, LCB, LB or RB. that is simply asking for trouble and we are seeing it.

Indeed.

We Davies coming back though, but he should be backup (at most). Ship Rose and replace him.

Keep Aurier as backup, sell KWP and get a RB in.

Jan looks like he'll be off. Need an experienced PL CB to come in - maybe Ake?

Sell Wanyama and replace him.

Keep Dier as a backup utility player
