He's got Sancho and Mbappe in his generation.
I am not comparing to the world. Just to Arsenal greats in the past. The last youth player to have such an impact was Ashley Cole and I think most fair minded people can say that he was the best left back in the world at times in his career.
Mbappe is something else.
Remember, they love money so pretend like you own a gold mine and you’re in the club.
What is his best position? We have some really good young players if you throw in Martinelli and Guendo.
Where did you say this J99? 🤔
Very impressive youngster. Hopefully Southgate gives him a cap because he has the family pressure to play for Nigeria on him. He's already looking better than Danny Rose.

Nah in fairness to J99 I remember him posting that comment and being laughed at.
It wasn’t that long ago - maybe Nov/Dec time? - some Gooners here were already starting to write Saka off, so good for you, J99, and those others here with a bit of common sense, that realise all youngsters have inconsistent periods early in their careers.
About time we got a bit more joy from our Academy too.

"Saka is once in a generation type player. Other fans are not aware of his ability. The media has not covered him so far. Opposing teams will slowly find out his quality.
Willock and Saka are going to be starters for Arsenal for a very long time. Nketiah not too far away either."

kinda ruined it by also mentioning willock and eddie 🤔
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why? I think Willock has a great chance of making it as a no.10. And Eddie is progressing as well. But like I said in the thread I don't rate them as highly as Saka. But they could be Arsenal starters for years if they continue to develop. Something I also mentioned in the thread. We have had false dawns before!
That was this season 🤔

Ornstein writes that Arsenal try hard to let him sign a new 5 years contract.
Saka looks good. But for me he’s not in the class of Wilshere when he first broke through. That was a truly remarkable talent. However Saka is certainly the best youth from past decade.
Wilshere had a great start. But he was never as consistent. What impresses me about Saka that sets him apart is his end product. He is the antithesis of Walcott. The only other player I have seen of similar vision at the same age is Cesc. But Cesc didn't have the pace or power that Saka has. No wonder we are now desperately trying to extend him. Its been a meteoric rise.
Seems a decent player, although he needs to beef up a little, went shoulder to shoulder with a Newcastle player was sent flying... was a little bit comical.
What is his natural position? I’m guessing he is not a full back
