For his first game back in god knows how long he did really well.
There was a few times he occupied the same space as Maguire and left a hole for Chelsea to expose, but that will come with games.
Bailly just looks like he has that brainless moment once a game that can cost us points, but consistency and more game time will iron that out.
He's a good defender and i'd prefer him to Victor.
Shaky start but he’s not played for ages. Really grew into it. Much more imposing than Lindelof but a different kind of weakness in that he’s rash and loses concentration as opposed to looking terrified all the time. Will be great if he can stake a claim for a regular first XI place.
should get an assist for the maguire goal. bloked out two chelsea defenders.
The little turn he did in his own box was absolutely class. I think him and Rojo are both better than Lindelof to be honest and they have that nutter side to them that I think every team needs.
Never been a huge fan of him because he's always prone to a brain fart or two. I think overall his attributes make him a much better partner for Maguire than Lindelof is though. Those 2 do not compliment each other at all.

Decent tactic they’ve got there, though not exactly rocket science. He stops people fouling/blocking Maguire by getting closer to him than any defender,
Eric looks like a Prince, plays like a King, but I still call him Brittle Bailly until he can put a run of 15-20 matches without injury. His rashness has mellowed, and that may be our saving grace. Lindelof should be fine in cup matches and maybe him and Axel can form a partnership and we'll be 2 deep in the centre-back positions.
I've always liked him... But he can be rash... When he has a bad game, its not just bad its an absolute stinker... And he's made of glass

Shugs, let's pray he gets on a run of matches and a solid run of form. We know there's a very fine player in Bailly, but ffs, he's brittle as fuch.

I was laughing when they did it later in the game. Bailly was bouncing up and down like madman.
