Strange move. Unless he's happy with Divock Origi levels of gametime. I can't see why Klopp would break up a tried and tested front 3 for no reason. So Werner will go from scoring for Leipzig to benchwarming for Liverpool.

So it's OK for City to have two big and expensive players in each position but not Liverpool. What did you think when Mahrez was bought to stand for Bernando Silva. Same with Sane for Sterling. We always hear Liverpool have excellent 11 players but not squad whearas City have best squad. Teams get injuries. Besides Klopp rotates his team. Firmino can play as an attacking midfielder. Werner can play as a striker or on the left.
I just don’t see why klopp would meddle with his front 3 when it’s the best part of his team. Meaning Werners going to be on the bench the majority of the time. Rotation in cup games is all well and good but most teams have an established first 11 for pl and Cl games. Changing too much disrupts the rhythm and balance of the team so that’s why there’s no way klopp will be changing his attack every game just for rotation. So either klopp changes his system which wouldn’t make sense because it’s doing so well or he drops one of the 4 of mane, Salah Firmino or Werner and none of them really should be sitting on the bench anywhere.
Put it this way:
Think about when Barcelona had Messi, Suarez and Neymar. Who was on the bench then for them? Did they change that front 3 ever for big Games?
I just can’t see why klopp would try and fix something that isn’t broken
It's not broken but we can't stand still either.
For Liverpool, it would be a great move to get a world class player - especially at such a low price.
For Werner, it would be a big mistake. He would play domestic cup games and PL games against the likes of Bournemouth. In the big matches, he would be a late substitute at best. And not because he is the inferior player compared to Liverpool's front three, but because Liverpool have perfected an attacking system where he doesn't fit in as well as the others.

Impossible to tell without him being here. He might fit in seamlessly and if he does well he will start many games.

Thomas sounds well jel
Liverpool’s front three won’t be around forever, maybe another two season at most. It’s apt to plan ahead.
