Well he is most certainly not AWSOME as that's not a word
He hasn't been anywhere near the player he used to be... Useful sub to have but he keeps making wrong decisions notably away at Utd, all he had to do was cut it back to VdV - Would have put us 0-1 up and completely change the game. Instead he fires it low straight into the keeper... Moments later we go 1-0 down.
Lennon has one move
which is tragic really, he could be a great player
Lennon gets the ball... He moves right then tries to kick the ball to a player in a Spurs shirt. Keeper collects or defender clears.
I think its Lennon's time to shine, at last he has someone to put in a cross for! Crouch couldn't move quickly enough to get in the box, Ade can
Stevendavis
When did i write AWSOME
He can't cross, can't dribble (ok, he can, but then it ain't so funny), can't shoot and has a vision of a decapitated chicken. Other than that, he's a fine footballer...
His shaven stripes look cool though...
So what are you all saying b done with aaron lennon? Sell him? keep him? What ya'll think...
I like Lennon
On his day he can win a game for us all by himself, he has not had the best start to the season but he was on fire last season
Lennon has been quality for us at times. But there's always been issues with his consistency.
I think a spell on the bench would do him some good actually, but I definitely feel he should have a future at Spurs.
Him and Bale, on form, on the wings is enough to terrify any defence.
Lennon is a key player for Spurs especially away from home, his pace on the counter is key to opening teams up like at Villa last season. If Lennon is fit he should play.
Should not forget the contribution at the San Siro (AC Milan) also. All the talk was about Modric starting the move and Crouch finishing but Lennon kept a cool head also and it was really down to his pace.
Further to what RRP said about Ade being a more mobile striker having 2 up front will help him find the space - if the the CB's have to mark Ade & Defoe he's less likely to be doubled up on. Same applies to Bale, and to why I think 4-4-2 is our best formation if we're going to play with 2 wingers.
I'm sure we'll see a better season stats-wise from both of them if we stick with Ade & a.n.other
STATS - Lennon had the most assists in the CL
Whats with the sudden Lennon bashing.?
He is one of those players that is capable of producing something special at any moment. His form has not be good recently but its only the start of the season.
A fit and motivated Lennon is very vital to us...more than most people seem to realise.
How many assists did Lennon get this season before his latest injury?
