Lloris
Tanganga Toby Sanchez Davies
GLC NDombele Gedson
Moura Lamela Bergwijn

Interesting...... Lamela couldn't be any worse than Dele in that False 9. At least he closes down and might leave a couple on their CBs. Doubt Davies will play 3 straight after 4 months out
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope he drops Dele after his little strop... He's been facking useless foir the past 6 weeks

I swear we go round in loops with Lamela:

Doesn't play for a while/is injured

We start to miss him

Comes back for some sub appearances and looks good

He starts starting matches and he doesn't look so good after all

Doesn't play for a while/gets injured, and back we are at the start of the loop.

No problem with Dele thowing a strop. It's better than getting booed off and telling the fans to feck off ala Xhaka.

Dunno why it's not happening for Dele. Looked like he was getting his act together not so long ago, and said he was doing away with his off field stuff to concentrate on football, and it seemed that was working for a bit. Perhaps he's become unfocused again.

That's only 4 players injured, not a great amount for any club at any given time, just so happens that Son and Kane are irreplaceable and that as usual Spurs squad is very much lacking in quality of depth

We're a one man team, mate......If he was our only injury we'd still be buggered..... Nice planning Levy

What do you mean ‘he’ and ‘one man team’. He listed two players, Kane and Son

Kante out is a good thing and evens it out a bit, but I just can’t see where our goals are going to come from.

You know you're in trouble when the best hope for a Spurs victory is "Spurs fans are all saying Chelsea will smash them so Sod's Law says they'll all be wrong"

Either way we are crap without Kane and totally crap without kane & Sonny...... I like Gingers idea of Playing Lamela as false 9 with Moura & Bergwijn out wide. Don't expect to win so would be quite happy if Lamela & Dier decided to rough them up a bit with a few industrial challenges. GLC has a bit of that Argie chippiness too... Turn it into a battle.. they look a bit soft to me..... Nobody in that side who looks like they fancy a fight..... Not like the old days of Chelsea under Jose

If Jose really is "The Special One" then it's times like this when he should be able to use all his wits and navigate us to victory.

It's funny isn't it. When Spurs win, it's because Mourinho has brought about a major improvement in the team. When Spurs lose, it's because his hands are tied with all the injuries and underperforming players.

This is the case for every manager ever, to be fair. Not just Mourinho by any stretch.

He's been unlucky with injuries for sure, but in terms of his reputation I don't feel we've seen enough of his magic so far; enough of that tactical guile. He's resembled no more than a decent manager, rather than a special manager.

Either Spurs simply don't have enough tools to provide him with that magic or he's no longer as special as he was.
