I feel for him to a degree. He can't function without a focal point striker, just can't do it, and I'm sure every impulse in him wanted to scream in Jan to buy one but knew there was no point, working for Levy and all.
Think you're gunna have to accept you'll be pants until Kane comes back. Can't blame him, he is who he is/not gunna change now, this one's on Levy for gambling on Son staying fit in Kane's absence.

An awful lot is on Levy, I agree.

Irish, I know. What a tragic situation to be in. It's like being stuck in a loveless marriage with no foreseeable divorce on the horizon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wait until you're stuck with his expensive annoying kids once he's left.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Luckily Levy doesn't like spending so that may not be an issue.

Oh fack right off will you
Don’t think you’re in some way superior to the people who wanted to be positive and give Jose a chance, there’s even still a chance we will win something, we knew it would go wrong at some point and that the footy would be negative, don’t go around thinking we’re stupid. Just a bit more glass half full is all
“ there’s even still a chance we will win something”
Levy is the one to blame. He just didn't support the previous manager. It was blindingly obvious that for various reasons things were going stale and changes were needed. The bald tightwad once again had his eyes fixed on the bank accounts, not footballing matters.
Bringing in a egotistical, footballing dinosaur in Jose, is on him too.

We aren't winning shiiit with Mourinho. May as well get used to it now and save yourself the fake hope.
His best work's always in season two. Not to say you'll win anything next year but that's the time to judge him one way or the other. If any manager's earned that right the last 15 years it's him.

He will probably win the CL or FA Cup now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How? Our record against big teams has been pitiful under him and you kind of need to play big teams if you want to win stuff. Add to the fact nobody can score a goal for us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In his defence (and i don't like the bloke) without son and Kane even Klopp would struggle.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We were pretty much the same in our CL run. No Kane (but also no Bergwijn) so not too dissimilar to today.
I cant see how its being said that the club does not back the manager unless fans really think that money is unlimited.
We must have spent 100 mill in the summer and we spent another 40 mill or so in January are you honestly silly enough to believe we can just go around signing anybody that we want without having to balance the books?
The whole Leipzig side cost about 81 million for gods sake and they made us lost pathetic. Look at losing to Southampton in the league over Xmas have they spent trillions?
Aurier cost us around 25 mill or something and Sanchez cost us around 40 mill.
Its not that we dont buy players its that we buy crap players thats where the problem lies and we have been doing it for years.
Darren Bent, Hutton, Bentley the list is endless but nobody can say that Levy has not made millions available over the years only to see it bloody wasted.
Yes buying bad players is part of the problem
Going over 500 days without a signing is a disaster though
Going over 500 days without a signing is a disaster though
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Not as big a disaster as wasting the Bale money on a load of crap tho is it?
I'd argue it was worse
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I dont see how you can?
Whats worse not buying a car and leaving the money in the bank or going out and buying a crap car that gives up after a week.
You dont have any money left in the bank and you dont have a car either?
From that bale money we atleast got 2 decent squad players in chadli and lamela and then got somebody who would end up being the most important player in the best spurs team for 30 years in eriksen.
Not buying any signings for 500 days completely killed our squad and led to the demise of poch. We could still be a top team with a top coach if we had done something then rather than letting the squad get in an even worse condition
