Your use of the word fact doesn’t make that a fact. In my opinion.
For the benefit of other teams fans, there is a lot of sensationalist statements and sarcasm in most of my posts.
However, my point stands which is that I have big concerns about our ability to hold on to a champions league position I’d we lose to bottom placed Norwich whilst in relegation from for over 10 games now.
Seems fair.
This post is all a bit sensationalist and sarcastic for my liking Merseyside, and I somewhat disagree.
Here is a fact..... Yes UTD are 9 points behind but if if you consider the GD is is more like 10. That is 3 wins and a draw while we have to lose 4.
Relax...... We win 3 and they lose 3 it is over!
Thanks Florida, I can always rely on you facts to help me feel better.
Your post is littered with subterfuge and subtext so I find it hard to accept your mild disagreement.
Anyone got a view on stinking with 3 at the back or not?
Mine was a fact as yours was not?
Go take a nap!
Certainly not a “‘must win” game - Fact
Four winnable games coming up 8-10 points a target as there are banana skins in there.
Get that and I think we’re almost home.
I’m watching Arsenal more than Utd, I think they have the squad and ability to go on a good run soon overtaking Utd.
"Anyone got a view on stinking with 3 at the back or not?"

Who is having success with 3 at the back in the prem right now?
I would drop Vardy and play 4-3-3 with Nacho up front with the 2 wingers pushed on. Vardy is a problem for us at the moment, tactically. If he isnt scoring, and he isnt holding the ball up to bring the attacking midfielders into play, he's a waste of space.

I agree with this and starting to think this may be Vardy's last big hoorah? Just hope I am wrong! FACT! Lol
In (proper) answer to the questions, I wouldn't necessarily put the Norwich match down as a must-win, but it would certainly give a confidence boost to nail the first of a relatively easier run of matches.
Whether anyone's having success with 3 at the back in the Prem right now is, I think, somewhat irrelevant. The important thing is whether it's right for us. Without Wilf, and with opposition teams recently looking like they have us pegged an predictable, I think it's worth a short-term change-up.
Vardy's lacking both form and service right now. But if you play Iheanacho up top then there's a danger that teams like Norwich will push up a long way and we won't have the pace in the team to get in behind them. The threat of Vardy pushes teams back and should allow the likes of Maddison and Tielemans the space to play. One mistake I think we've made recently is refusing to go long when the opportunity presents itself. Let teams know that they can choose between denying our midfield space and denying space in behind, and then play them accordingly. In the run of games before Man City, we've spent too long trying to play a perfect build-up and it's turned into Puelball.
Brilliant post Dunge. I agree with your facts.
Looking at man utd, Chelsea wolves we are all playing one another
And with similar list of opposition,
As well as looking at us loosing them winning
Another 3
Games and your into we are safe or we are in the relegation fight,
This I'll change teams tactics
If they pool, man city, us and Sheffield
Then the latter get targeted for points,
I think 3 wins will be enough to see us over
Unless somebody goes on a 10 game winning spree
Hopefully us 😁
Not sure how many more points we really need? Usually less than mathematical.... Like Liverpool could just head to Tenerife right now and still win the league! Not fact just an opinion same as Dunge's facts...... Lol

Tenerife? Judging by the news, if they did happen to head there they could go down as the first side to win the league in quarantine.

That is funny!
Liverpool are 2 points off our title winning total with 11 games to go.
That is some sort of insanity!
I think they just might do it. Let’s hope we can challenge them next season.
Oddly enough, I was thinking of writing a similar article to this. Of course and strictly speaking we are not in 'must win' territory but this feels like another of those season defining moments.
The first time we played the Canaries was just one of these, I knew after that game there was zero chance of us challenging Liverpool. This has a similar feel to it, a chance to get back on track in time for a number of winnable games against sides which have been struggling. Either that, or confirmation that we've gone off the rails, have been found out and are destined to slip down the table in a disappointing end to the season.
With the greatest respect to Norwich, they are propping up the table for a reason. We need to score early preferably, that would test their confidence. We also need to use our new found variety, mixing it up a bit with occasional quick balls forward if/as they press high. I suspect that playing away will help.
Hopefully we'll get a good result and be nicely set up for the next few matches.
Maybe it is the vodka but I am enjoying this season....
We had a great start and the only game I was annoyed with was the Man U one! ( We just laid down!)
As for Norwich, they beat Man City 3-1 whom are the current Champions....
Enjoy the ride and we will be in the CL next season! Not fact but close........
There are still teams that were now fighting for their lives which will pull out a surprise? WH nearly did yesterday if their keeper had not been to the Casper school of goalkeeping!
Call Delia Smith and ask her how her season is going?
Thanks Nuneaton - at least someone understood the intention of my post and terrible humour 😂.
Florida - I totally agree with you, it’s not the vodka at all. Unlike the title winning season where it was torturous due to how much was at stake, this season has just been a pleasure to watch how Brendon has taken us on and unlocked the potential in the squad.
But the last 10 or so games have been tough, and our young squad is struggling to cope with the pressures of teams finding ways to play us along with a genuine challenge for the top four.
That has been frustrating to watch after such a good start. I want us to get our confidence back against Norwich as that could see us push on and push over the line. But lose and I think that the fragile confidence in the team will be shot, and that could result in a poor end to the season.
Let’s hope we get the win and push on.
