I like the look of James, Tomori, Mount, i think all 3 can be top players.
Hudson-Odoi is the most over-rated talent around, 100k a week I still think he will be decent but he was being hyped as the next big thing and he's not that.
Loftus-Cheek will spend more time injured than fit so it negates his quality.
Using Kante correctly, Pulisic being fit and having Ziyech are key for Chelsea kicking on next season.
Major defensive reinforcements needed, i don't even rate Rudiger that much tbh and a proper goal scorer will help massively.
The notion that Pulisic hasn't had an extended run of matches is a misconception
Pulisic was given an extended run, hence fatigue and injury.
Player himself even admitted to Frank, that he was a little exhausted from the gametime and that's when started to see sharp downturn in performance from him.
Workload that Frank and league demands is taxing.

With all due respect to Pulisic...doesn’t possess this sort of variation/depth, to his game on either side of the pitch that Callum can produce.
Type of intricacies and attacking output that we were missing last night. Our most productive attacking outlet.
Still has to work on his acceleration, that will comeback overtime.
I don't think people grasp how serious of an injury Achilles is (mentally & physically) to an explosive attacker (or maybe just ignorant), potentially (debilitating) career-ending injury that's how horrible it is.
His first big injury that he's has to deal with.
Been making remarkably solid progress. Patience is a virtue.
Hoping for similar results whenever Loftus take to the pitch, his Achilles was even more severe. Going to be tough. Should be afforded the sane patience, although his injury record is concerning.
Only thing Pulisic has over Callum is off the ball movements and experience.
Very good measured blindside movements, Pulisic.
Frank's been drumming that into Callum's head and he's taken that on board, improving. See goal against Burnley.
Tomori should be starting.
Rudi is a mess, amount of times last night that he was ball-watching and wasn't in-sync with the offside trap was appalling for a so called experienced "leader" in defence.
Not particularly enamoured by Azpi's performances either.
Barkley is devoid of a footballing IQ.
We'll need a busy and productive summer window with four or five players brought in (not including Ziyech).
This will probably be our most important transfer window for about five years. The club absolutely must get this one right and they must be prepared to pay big money if needed for the right players that we need.
Also let's buy clever and look for up and coming stars like Edouard at Celtic who's been mentioned on these boards recently.
Alonso- wing back only, doesn't suit how we will play 90 percent of the time
----------------------------------------------------
Something happens to Alonso's brain when he's told to play LB. It's not just the fact he lacks the fitness or defensive nous to play there, but he starts making really amateurish decisions usually the compensate for being out of position.
I'm beginning to be of the opinion he should be sold this summer. The makeup of the squad right now would be more cost effective to structure a back four team going forward (suits Lampard's football better too) & he needs to play for an exclusive three at the back team. As a LB he's not even good enough as a backup.
James--potentially very good, needs to improve defensively but this should come with experience.
--------------------------------------------------------
Davies' performance last night was a massive wake up call about where James currently is offensively never mind defensively. Definitely a player worth getting exciting about but needs work & time to get there. All that Bayern kid needs is exposure.
I imagine it’s a lot easier to shine in that Bayern team than in that makeshift side of ours. Would be interesting to see how James would get on if he played for them.
If Frank is going to deploy back three system against Bayern again...
Tomori on the right of the defence is a must (knows Davies well from their time playing with Canada) and obviously the notable pace advantage over Azpi, toe to toe with Davies.
Right-side of Tomori, RJ and Callum or Pulisic...no way Davies is having a free rein down that side.
Mount got behind Davies a few times but didn't have the pace to capitalise on the chances and doesn't have the same connection with RJ, as Callum.
Without Callum (or Pulisic) to complement his play, limiting factor in RJ's performance at wingback.
"Tomori- can't really comment as we've not seen him in the first team much."
That's also erroneous.
Tomori is second, in CB minutes played.
Minutes played:
1) Zouma
2) Tomori
3) Christensen
4) Rudiger
Is the order.
Bournemouth away, would like to see a changed side.
Cab
RJ AC Tomori Emerson
Jorg (c) Kova
Callum *Loftus(?) Mount
Tammy
*or will he be saved for the FA Cup match against Liverpool.
Jorginho could miss the next 3 matches (after FA Cup), If he gets here.

Brilliant. You've got 5 starters and 9 on the bench including Kovacic who has arguably been our best player this season.

This. Callum + RJ a dangerous combo with bundles of talent.
Let's not overreact to Bayern schooling
Guardian claiming Frank (rightly) has reservations about Rudi. It'll either be him (with 2-years left on contract) or Zouma gone in the summer.

That's a clued-up manager in control and head screwed on
If rumours of wholesale changes are to be believed...Barkley, Alonso, Pedro, Willian, Girooo or Bats should be the first casualties in the clearout from the current squad and adequately replaced, without hesitation.
