All depends on whether we go through or not. To be quite frank the one player i don't want to see is Lingard. I am willing to give Perreira a bit more time for the simple fact its his first full season.
Our strength in depth isn't good, and some that could provide it are often imjured. Which is why our new CF could be good in the future, and maybe James, Dalot and a couple of others.
Reckon Ighalo could start tonight with James and Greenwood either side. Martial needs a rest

We're in the round of 32 of a knock-out competition along with several teams that would be favourites against us and many others that look like banana skins. Inter, Roma, Shakhtar, Ajax, Arsenal, Wolves, Porto, Benfica, Sevilla, Basel. Hard to see as favourable a route to the final as Jose got. We've had a season of encouraging games followed by bad ones. In the Europa league it's basically one slip-up and out.
Meanwhile, in the league as things stand we need to stay where we are to qualify for the CL. Unless one of the hapless teams around us puts together a run of form that's better than what they've achieved to date, we can continue with our current points per game and qualify in 5th. Slightly improve our league form over the next 11 games (with players returning from injury and the Fernandes effect) and even continuing the alternation of steps forward and backward we might sneak 4th.
I really don't think it should be all eggs in the Europa basket at this stage.
Brugge are missing a couple of key players so we should be able to get away with a similar starting 11 to the first game.

We've been linked in the last couple of days with Jonathan David from Gent. Canadian, fast, scored lots recently

I’m still not convinced we’ll get fourth, but it’s very much a possibility. The teams competing for it are all equally as shiiiiiit as we are.

I feel sorry for the likes of Stretty and UWW... To be in the mindset that making up 3 points on an inconsitent Chelsea is almost out of the question, but being leapfrogged by all of Spurs, Wolves and Sheff. Utd is a huge possibility. Poor guys, they really need something else in their lives.
