Excellent intro Don. I was doing pretty well when the team selection was predictable. Not so good lately. Things don't seem to be all sweetness and light at the moment. I think we'll finish the season just about where we are now. Squad rotation might be OK when you have Premier League players but we don't so in my view playing a settled team at our level has to be the priority. I'm tending towards a defeat also but think we might scrape a draw. 1-1. Taylor, Sadlier, Blair, Amos, Coppinger, Gomes
Wycombe had a bit of a blip recently but seem to be getting on track again.
The chairboys are further up the table than us with a nice points cushion. (Sorry chaps, couldn’t resist).
Not so long ago our supporters we gleefully saying that our games in hand would get us into the top six but now, the one game in hand that we have over some clubs would take us to the dizzy height of tenth place if we won it.
On the wild Oregon Coast and have found a reasonable signal level! Logic says another loss, but I’ll join with the optimists and say a win at 2-1. Sadlier if he starts or Ramsey. If neither starts, Whiteman. Donaldo (thanks for the great intro), I say Amos will start!
Not sure about what team he's going to play, apart from 5 loanees and a few of our players that is. I know that big bleeder will score tomorrow. You just know he's going to have a blinder. It's just our luck at mo.
2-2 Ramsey /sadler/Ennis/whiteman/amos
Rovers 1 Wycombe 2 sadler/Anderson/Ramsey
Rovers 1-2 Wycombe
Ramsey to score.
Small Azza
Rovers 1-1 Wycombe
Cole to score.
2-1 to Rovers. Ennis, Sadlier

Apparently No26 did play and scored!
It was fortunate that WW did not convert any of their early chances.
Amos looked well deserving of his place; it’s a shame it took so long for his ability to be recognised.
How much the overall selection process owes to the manager’s judgement and how much it was the pressure put on him by those critical of his previous decisions remains an unanswered question.
The task of reaching a mid 70s points total from the 3 remaining home games and the 10 away, 20 or so, remains gargantuan.
Just being a little pedantic here don, but it is only eight away games.
Would love to know what was said behind closed doors over last few days, weeks. Regarding the team selection, its all a mystery to me, the way things are going with interested parties in almost all our team, its guna be a fire sale in June if things aren't sorted in next couple of months.
Who will we have left at this rate, Jones as keeper, Amos at left back, good old Copps, Feji, more than likely Cole maybe sign that young Lokilo? He does look a top player in the making.
They say, Moore and the board, that they are already planning for next season 😂
But will Moore be here, fans are calling him "Tinkerman" at the moment due to his team selections, but, will he be another part of the cog that needs replacing.
It's never dull being a mighty Ziggers fan, yet even now, I'm dreading the end of this season too me honest.
To be fair isn't this DMs first full season as a manager. Surely he's still only learning. It's not been that bad this season and it isn't over yet.
I’m with you on this BVZ. The manager, like his predecessor at the end of last season, has been given, free rein and recently it has become apparent that he needs guidance. If inexperience is a factor as Nookie suggests, the CEO needs to provide more direction. I am tired of “Jam Tomorrow”; the Board are experienced and so is the CEO; DRFC is not a Training Centre.
Gone are the principles of building Club Doncaster into the centre for Doncaster Sporting excellence, founded on the Academy, creating an entity where resources are solidly combined to provide a foundation for the advancement of DRFC, the Dons and the Belles. The Belles are shadows of their former selves, the Dons are stagnant and Rovers imagine that it is outrageous to have to compete for the continued services of their players. They lose out to National League-sized Fleetwood and a team whose glory days are long since passed and now do not even have a ground to call their own like Coventry. No wonder Championship clubs are lining up for Sadlier (who the manager, seemingly ill-advisedly yet with approval up the line, has provided with ample justification to feel unwanted and unliked) and for Whiteman who faces a future of playing alongside a completely new batch of PL loanees next season as the team start from scratch again with no greater aim than “giving it a good go” for the play-offs and at worst to stay up.
We aren’t playing matches for the long-term benefit of a bunch of loanees and the PL clubs who will reap the benefit and never mind our results in the meantime. They won’t be here next season. The CEO and the Board have taken their eye off what should be the pursuit of the company’s Objectives and they should correct the course that the manager has taken recently. The priority should be the obvious one of obtaining the best results from the strongest team available with no guaranteed spots for loanees or his seemingly-favoured own recruits.
The way the club has presenting itself to the DFP in relation to its player development policy is utterly inconsistent with the reality.
Madger Gomes wanted by Sheff Weds.
I did not see the game. I got a reasonable signal on the coast, but iFollow dropped-out om my iPad while I was watching DM’s pre-game talk on Friday and for some reason would not re-connect then, or on Saturday. I’ve watched the highlights back at home today, and there were good and poor things about the performance. I’d like to hear some thoughts about Cole from people who saw the game; the DFP gives him a positive write-up.
I am almost totally p---d off with DM’s chop-and-change manner of team selection, and when he drops Amos for the next game, will be totally p---d off!
I think one problem is relying (or just having) so many loanees. Last season Wilks and Kane were very good additions, and, of course, we first had Anderson on loan. DM says there are no agreements as to how often anyone has to play, but obviously the players, or the parent clubs, will not be happy if they do not play. However, he does seem to give them preference over well-established players that are performing well. To me the biggest tragedies are the lack of opportunities for promising development squad players (despite all DM’s talk about it), and the lack of sufficient playing time for our two top scorers, Sadlier and Taylor. With Ramsey’s, and now Lokilo’s, good early games (it appears Lokilo had a very good game for the U-23s today), when will Taylor get game time?
I feel very sorry for Baptiste as he was injured in his second game. However, would DM break-up the Anderson-Wright partnership to give him a start? - probably “Yes” because of some “mysterious injury” to one of them!
Also, I am not looking forward to the second year running of the dismantling of our team.
Cole was virtually anonymous for the first forty minutes against Wycombe.
I was hoping that Moore would take him off, put Ennis down the middle, Sads on the left and bring Taylor on down the right.
To be fair, Cole did do better in the second half and should have had that last minute pen but for me, I haven’t seen him produce enough in his games so far.
He appears to be lazy and certainly won’t chase about like JM did last season.Fejiri completes his suspension this coming Saturday but will need to get match fit before Moore will put him back in the team.
He had just got himself into the starting line up before the sending off of course.
The DFP has acted as a willing messenger for the “Party line” on this issue. DM is a genuinely nice man and he may believe what he says without having objectively analysed whether his actions match his words. That brings me back to the role of the press and the duty to question and challenge.
It is time they began to do their job. Do they ever read this stuff though?
Donaldo,
You ask if "they ever read this stuff". I'm sure they have some lowly staff member assigned to it, and take no notice of what he/she says. However, I hope someone like Sads looks at it and realises that most of us would love him to stay. At 75, I hate social media and have would never partake in Facebook or Twitter, but I assume a "youngster" like Sads may well do. You young guys, please tell him we love him!

Be interesting to see who gets picked on Saturday, wonder if Taylor will be another one departing at end of season. The more I hear, the more I have grave concerns about next season.
Regarding Moore and who he's brought in compared to the players McCann had lined up, doesn't look good to be honest. Both full backs and Taylor where lined up before he left, so who has Moore brought in and when.
Looking sympathetically on Darren Moore’s situation, you could attribute where he finds himself now to a degree of inexperience. OK he will have coached and managed junior teams prior to WBA, but his actual time in first team control is still less than 2 years. Most of us will have made mistakes which we look back on with some embarrassment in our early years of management.
The fact that he put out a winning team last time is to his credit and he seems the sort of person who is sensitive to criticism. He may not admit publically that he was getting things wrong and I think it his actions here on in that will show his real calibre
