Both goals Everton scored this season have been a De Gea assist.
As Shanks once said, if he's not interfering with play, he bloody well should be.
Phew. Over the forty point mark finally. That eases our relegation fears considerably.
One positive today - looked much more assured defending corners.
De Gea was beaten hands down, VAR shiite strikes again another tool in the red teams Cabinet along with all the tools on this site defending that appalling decision.

Absolute rubbish should never of been disallowed. Sigurdsson didnt touch it and he wasnt blocking the goalkeepers line of sight how could he have been considering the player is on the floor and the goalkeeper is standing up.

This
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Farcical VAR decision ... again. Sigurdsson had zero impact on DDG’s ability to save that, and the keeper knows it.

Ighalo deserves his wages docked for that miss. It was one of those chances more impossible to miss, I was fully expecting a goal and then see replay he completely mishit it across goal back to Pickford. It wasn't a great save, it was a shocking miss.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He wasn't on the pitch long tbf and he actually gets in position.
I think he should start and be subbed till he gets fit. Greenwood and Martial were poor

You need to give credit where it’s due to the keeper
Ighalo missed quite a few big chances since he came but that one was unforgiveable. Miss of the season surely? Open half of goal and he hits it across back to keeper.
I still can't get over DDGs feck up. He should be horse whipped.
I hate VAR but that was the right decision in terms of how the laws of the game stand

You’re glitching. Miss of the season
It's one of those, i wouldn't call it a great save, or a bad shot. It just took and age to come down and everyone got back in position to block it.
not hard feelings towards igalho
Actually I think Rashford missed an open goal from 1yd out this season but that was near the same.

You can't have it both ways. You are either fully in for VAR or not.
I don't hate VAR, I dislike how the VAR ref is too forensic at times. If it takes 2 mins to arrive at a decision then it's not clear and obvious.
In time it will get better.
Lurker you didn't watch the replay then, Ighalo hit it a few yards to the left where Pickford was. If he hit it straight it or not back to the keeper it was a goal. Even Fernandes should really have scored that chance.
Add to that Greenwood running through and passing to Martial where he elected to cross it and it feels like a defeat. De Gea gifted a goal out of nothing, the goal Everton conceded was more a great strike than a keeping error.

Tbf to Martial and Greenwood today, they were playing in split forward roles to make space for the midfielders.
I haven't seen a player miss a chance like Ighalo were everything was favouring him to score in a long time. Honestly think we are cursed as all the draws we had big chances to win this season and failed each time.

Expected goals gave Ighalo chance 0.65 of going in which I believe is near the highest I have seen for an open play chance lol.
