but imagine if he can lead this current Real team to the title ahead of Lionel Messi and Barça

Barca are nothing to write home about these days either tbh.

Probably the weakest the 2 of them have been in a good 12-15 years.

Agree.

The teams are both currently at their lowest ebb for a long time.

Once Messi is done reckon Barca will struggle to get anywhere near the levels they have been for the past decade.

La Liga is pants. Apart from the top two, its all very average.

Which is why they both usually do well in the CL latter stages.

PL clubs have to deal with competitive PL games up to the final day of the season. Bottom can beat top and visa versa for the entire season.

Which is one reason why Ronaldo is the best player in the world. He's proved it in the top 3 leagues in the World.

Unlike Messi who has dodged this challenge and settled for the (relative comfort) of La Liga

A lot of European giants aren’t in a great position right now. These two and Juventus are the weakest they’ve been for a while.

Milan are a shadow of their former selves are unlikely to be back.

Then there’s us.

PL fanboys peddling this myth still, why not just admit you don’t watch La Liga instead of repeating tabloid rubbish like this?

Agree. Messi alone is the only reason they are competitive in Europe or la Liga

Erm, yes.

What is your definition of a title race?

posted on 2/3/20

When the obvious team don't compete over decades?

posted on 2/3/20

I think that's probably a different definition to the one about 99% of football fans have.
