Chelsea have taken 19 points from their last 16 games, steadily narrowing the gap really isn’t good enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are only 3 points behind them now. We could be 4th by the end of this weekend if results go our way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Been hearing this most of the season, and when results go our way we fack up. The fact Chelsea are still three clear of us despite their woeful form really puts our season into perspective.

yup, take that var game at the bridge with maguire sent off early and it most likely would be 9 point gap still. We have benefited from everyone else being just as bad or worse.
infact add the everton goal yesterday too (which no point debating about) and if not for some fortuitous var decisions utd would still be about 10 points off us.
No doubt bruno has added some class but ole still has a lot to do.
Been hearing this most of the season,
----------------
Not in the context I have explained. For the majority of the season we have not been 1 result away from being in 4th.
The fight for 4th will likely go down to the wire though.
infact add the everton goal yesterday too (which no point debating about) and if not for some fortuitous var decisions utd would still be about 10 points off us.
-----------------
The majority of our VAR calls have been correct. You have a case with the Maguire one, not for the Everton one or the 2 Chelsea goals chalked off. We have also been unfortunate with VAR, for example DDG getting an arm to the face from Calvert Lewin in the return Everton fixture.

Like i said not worth debating the everton one, near enough everyone i know says the goal should have stood. something i agree with. Also the maguire one and zouma goal for us i believe were wrong decisions.
Utd have the biggest plus/minus of var decisions. chelsea have a negative of 4. Obviously not all are wrong, but a lot are contentious.
Just saying, the narrowing of the gap as someone said earlier is all fine margins and not necessarily an improvement of oles managerial tactics.
But for the majority of the season it’s been us dropping points when we’ve had the opportunity to close the gap. To still be three behind this Chelsea team is pathetic.
so one minute he is tactically inept.. and the next he tries too much because he makes changes based on the opposition... you cant make this shiiiite up
--------------------
Oh I'm sorry, Ole is a tactical genius, give him at least 10 years after all, he's proven what a great coach he is, I mean look at how many points he's got, 11 wins in 28 games and has yet to win 3 consecutive league games in 12 months.
Surely everyone is feeling more optimistic. Ole has had two windows, improved the defence and midfield. He's got some players playing better, has Williams and Greenwood as part of the first team squad, results have improved.
The main criticism is about style of play, well I think we've seen enough to know what he wants to achieve. So far so good as far as tm concerned. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. We're still in two cups and a chance of top 4, and not many would have imagined that at Christmas.
So you don't see any improvement Bumble, not noticed any better results, more attacking football, players playing better, new recruits doing well. Still the same old same old..?
Ole out.
results have improved.
===============
We've neem chit all season
I can actually read Stretty, so à look at the seasons results shows we have improved recently.
And when you say all season, do you mean in every game then?

Maguire was stone wall, one of the goals should have stood, and yesterday’s offside was irrelevant as Everton should have had a penalty for AWB wiping out Sigurdsson in the first place.
You don't have a case on the Maguire one, nor was it stonewall or stonecold as it's properly known. Because it was viewed by VAR and deemed not to be a penalty.

Fernandes performances have shown just how poor pogba has been over the course of the past 4 years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does it?
Most goal, assists, chances created and so on last season. Not really had a chance this season. Pogba just didn't have the players on his level, we have finally found one in Bruno
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet another excuse for him. When he really plays he could raise us up, problem is he rarely does. Perhaps with another quality technician in bruno he will, but he’s been so hit and miss I’m not sure. Where will ole play him, and who does he drop?

I am Ole out at the end of the season, I feel if we keep Ole on for another season, it will be the same old and another wasted season, new players may improve for a few games but I fear with very basic coaching, eventually we will be back to how it has been this season.
Has there been improvements yes slight but we’re still way too inconsistent with results. It’s always 1 step forward, 2 step backwards. 15 months is enough to judge a managers credentials, he’s done well with recruitment but I think if we want to get to the next level, need a better manager in charge. I don’t think Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea will be this bad next season.
Ole, Lampard, Arteta and Nuno are doing OK. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I agree uww. And we'll done Ole for making it po.
My reply UWW was to your looking forward to seeing Bruno and Pogba together.
You need to calm down with your anti Ole rhetoric. His gradual improvement is likely to continue and look a mug.
I do hope so. Be amazing if our fortunes could turn with Ole at the wheel. While results are key, i don't think Ed would sack Ole anyway. If it all goes to hell in the next few weeks, the pressure will be right back on, but sacking Ole wouldn't make sense anyway.
Cos we were set for a tough season.
Net season, a whole different ball game.
But you can see a glimmer. The players look like they are playing for him. On paper there's now a very decent first 11, including Pogba.
There's a good vibe at UTD, but when we can be making lives easier for ourselves we stumble.
That routine has to stop.

=====================
Brilliant, he can take penalties.
Bruno seems to actually be able to take the game to other teams.
Pogba cannot.
Players on pogbas level? A traffic cone would be sufficient. Its funny how bruno is still managing to perform with these very same players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pogba last season compared to everybody else in the team:
Most goals
Most assists
Most chances created
Most shots on target
Most take one’s
Most fouls won
Most possession won
Most duels won
Most passes into the final 3rd
A traffic cone....
