Well it's true, plenty of other factors at play. Look at the team that won the treble. Got a very low points total but won the treble, and then proved the following season they could accumulate a high points total.

Sure, but the discussion is best PL team. If we are taking other tournaments into account (which is a valid thing to do) then Arsenal's "invincible" team actually lost 6 games minutes 03-04 and so lose their only claim to he part of the discussion.

If we are talking about total success in a season based on trophies,then United in 99 are top - followed by Liverpool in 84. Then you would be looking at liverpool in 77 and united in 08. Them City last season.

i think you deserve to win the league, but i think youre lucky in the fact city have been poor by their standards.

i think the scoreline against Southampton flattered you greatly and you have been well below standard against west ham, norwich, atletico and watford.

either you have taken your foot off the gas and become a bit complacent or youre squad is starting to feel the effects of a long season.

either way it would have been interesting to see how you would have coped with someone breathing down your neck.

It’s not luck either. City, despite spending loads more than us already, needed to strengthen at the back. They didn’t. Kompany going along with LB being an area of weakness.

We're in a dip at the moment alright but we've lost two games we can afford to lose, hopefully the blip post the winter break is short term pain for long term gain and we're fresher towards the end of the season. Time will tell.

Ha ha ha. We've dropped 5 points all season and I see know reason why we won't quickly overcome this 'dip'.
