with events such as massacres sure, i guess if it was ancient history with no living relatives im fine with it.
I can just imagine someones family getting murdered then a few years later hollywood making a film about it. Would be weird for the survivor seeing them make money off it (ala the ted bundy film that came out like a year ago)
Haven't the reviews been poor for this?

7.2 on IMDb, which for a series is pretty average.
I generally find Robb's TV and film reviews pretty useful though, as I tend to stay clear of anything he recommends
Ooooh think I will give this a go! Was looking for something new.

Out of interest though, does that include, for example, stuff like Goodfellas and Narcos? All based on true events.
Or even fictional stuff that's Mobster/Drug-related?

It’s actually very respectful to the Jewish faith and quite an interesting outlook on the whole thing
Mmm watched a few, reality suspension is pushed to the max.
I can see its appeal and the production is very good but, not for me.

hmm i have watched those, i think my issue isnt the story being told, its that the studios get rich off it, if say they donated profits to groups effected i wouldnt have a problem (im not entirely sure what my exact opinion is)
its more a thing at the back of my mind, that occasionally pops up when i see them

Fair enough.
Speaking of drug-trafficking series, started watching Snowfall recently which is brilliant so far. Very underrated.

I think the Jewish were up in arms about how bleak it was, they didn’t want to be reminded, not so much that it was bad, it’s just very dark.
What? They made a sequel to that 80's cop show!?

Yeah, some decent stuff on there. The final series of Mr Robot was absolutely brilliant.
I'd also recommend The Boys to anyone like me who finds all that Marvel superhero shīt annoying.
I like marvvels films but the boys was excellent.
my fear with it is that they will drag it out.
they could of done it all in one season of 12 episodes if theyd gone by the comic book.

Yeah, the Boys was amazing. Read the graphic novels a few years ago and hoped they’d do it justice and they have
