To be fair, he was a good manager ten years ago.
apparently I keep hearing that he is a serial winner, what ever that means, about something that happened in history apparently
Fluked a champions League win at Porto in a game where they were battard , claimed himself the Messiah , got a job in London and just brought himself all the best players , Roman clicked on, sacked him went to Madrid and then back to London . Went to Utd spunked a fortune there bored everyone lost the plot and now his at a club that hates spending and has been found out again.
No doubt years ago when he could buy who ever he wanted he was successful, anyone in his situation would be , now it's an even playing field he can't complete.

You're not going to get a reply from the cult of Mourinho OP. They'd rather deflect than answer the points put to them
The problem with Jose Mourinho is that his main concern at all times is always Jose Mourinho. His own reputation is always more important to him than that of the club or the players he is managing.
When things are going well it doesnt matter so much, but when he hits a sticky patch it means you get this version of him, where his only aim is to make sure that everyone is aware that what is happening is everyone's fault but his. And in doing so he almost always creates an absolutely toxic atmosphere around the club.
I do genuinely feel for you guys. I can honestly say I have never felt as emotionally detached from United as when Jose was our manager. Absolutely horrendous decision by whoever made it.

Nice summary. The detachment is what gets me. Think I have been to 4 games since he joined. Honestly, no longer care whether we win or lose. The longer he is here the longer we're subjected to this insipid football and circus. Only thing left to hope for this season is he gets canned.
apparently so im told it will get better when he gets his own players in !!!
Apart from his spell at Real Madrid, in which any manager can improve their stats, his win percentage has been on a decline from job to job since his time at Porto. He's now experiencing the worst win rate in his career currently at Spurs. This will also be his 6th trophyless season in his last 8 seasons. Now we're getting public criticism of individuals, and excuses.
It's hard not to think he isn't past it when you follow his career path.
he was a top manager , but football has changed
very attack minded, high pressing teams , like those managed by Klopp and Nagelsmann
increased athleticism and the rule changes in football, all favour high tempo attacking football
Mou is out of sink with all this...the way he tries to protect one goal leads an example
the new Mou in world football, who seems able to play for narrow wins and defend leads is Simeone...but he has only done this with one club so far
Small squad
No depth
Injured players
Someone can’t be bothered
Jose tactically to blame
Levy not investing
Everyone gets both barrels
Not surprised that this hasn't gotten a response

Sandy filtered me because I criticised Jose.
Bergwijn, lo Celso, Lamela, Lucas, Ndombele and Dele - None of these are strikers and you fail to mention Kane, Son and Sissoko are injured.
You want him to play champagne football ? Come on cut him some slack. Goals are going to be hard to come by until one of Kane and Son are back.
I believe in him and he is still on a free pass until season. Won't get bored of saying it no matter how bad results are between now and the end of the season.

Oh and Lamps still has Giroud as well as Bat man, and Ole was backed and signed Igahlo. Also has Greenwood who is miles ahead of Parrot plus Martial.

Why does a lack of a striker mean we have to carry on playing long?
Dunno mate. Ask Jose but I have seen interviews of him saying he doesn't believe in possession based football. Got him a few trophies down the years hey?
And we don't play ling all the time but it is good to mix it up. Would you rather we played sidewayz z z z z?
