Yesterday i saw a FB post saying this is a hoax because nobody has even seen a name released in the press.......today i have seen that message posted three more times, it really defies belief really.

Clubs at that level rely heavily on gate money I guess without it quite a few will go to the wall pretty quickly.

Just read that about Cutrone, hope he recovers quickly, as a fit guy he is likely to be ok.

Probably premature to speculate on how the season will conclude but heard that Karen Brady is suggesting the the current season should be declared null and void. Quelle surprise!!

I really don't see how that happens. Have seen one suggestion where this year's points carry into next season which whilst not ideal would appease clubs set to miss out on great rewards a little bit.

Another I have seen suggests that clubs in automatic promotion spots come up and the league is expanded for a season.

another suggestion is that this season must be finished - even if it means restarting in august and playing to the end of october, a 2 month break then starting the 20/21 season in january. cup competitions would be dropped.

Don’t think it’s possible to come up with a sensible solution until we know when it’s going to be possible to start playing football again. Until then any proposal adopted is likely to have to be changed. Do think they need to finish this season if at all possible. And not have the next transfer window until that has happened.

Agreeing a solution in this country will be difficult. Agreeing a common approach across all European leagues much more difficult

My suggestion would be , end the season as is with relegation's and promotions, then start again in August if possible.
Unlikely I know but we are where we are.

the uk health minister says that the current death rate from corona virus is 2% or lower.
very similar in fact to influenza which kills 17,000 a year in the uk - bad but not going to decimate the population.

The virus attacks those that are old, unfit, with underlying health conditions. Understandable that people are on edge?

Bought some toilet roll today. When you can do things like that you know we are still in the normality phase

People are hoarding the wrong things here, you can't eat toilet roll. Live locally, grow vegetables, make friends with your neighbours, you only own what you can defend when the zombies come calling, and save as many of your community as you can.
