I suppose it's possible and certainly made more likely by this crisis but I still don't see it happening. I just think clubs and football associations have enough on their plates right now with everything that's going on without throwing anymore sticks on the fire.
I suppose though that if enough clubs are upset by the decisions that are going to be made in the coming weeks/months it could make it more likely. But do the clubs themselves really want a European Super League or would it suit them more to maintain the status quo?
Regarding Arsenal, our chances of winning enough of our remaining games and other teams slipping up to get us into the Champions League were/are pretty remote to be honest, especially considering the remaining fixtures. If the season is voided and Arteta gets to start fresh with some form of pre-season and transfer window it could actually turn out to be a blessing in disguise for us.
The point of forming a super league would be to break away from the current governing bodies which will be a lot easier to do when clubs are filing lawsuits against the FA/UEFA/FIFA etc
Re Arsenal, yea we were never gonna qualify but the club will take the stance that they were still robbed of an opportunity to qualify and you be sure the like of United, Wolves, Leicester even Sheffield United will claim they have been wronged
For sure it will be a lot easier to do but it's also not the FA's or any football governing bodies fault that this crisis happened. One of the few times I've seen Sandy talk sense was yesterday when he said they would just be laughed out of court. Maybe a lawyer could shed some more light on that.
At the end of the day all the big clubs need to be aligned for a dramatic event like this to occur whether they all are / whether they would all even prefer a change like this I'm less than sure, remember a lot of English clubs have old English board members, many of whom are traditionalists.
Premier League is already very lucrative as well and if you throw in Champions League money, would it even be worth it financially for them to swap that for a European Super League?

This is just another desperately silly article, by another cretinous idiot.
It won’t be voided, financial implications/ramifications would be minefield and football will be tied up in a legal mess for the foreseeable.
Just carry on once this bug is sorted.
I can see why an arsenal fan would want it voided though given your horrendous season and cities euro ban.

Right, let me play the devil's advocate and throw the financial argument back at you.
What happens to all the upcoming financial agreements and partnerships that have already been signed for the start of next season?
It would probably be cheaper to eat any financial penalties arising from writing off the remaining 9 games, than it would be for renegotiating future deals.

We’re see though things could change quickly
Warm weather could help, a vaccine could sort it out, who the fack really knows.
It’s not fair on Liverpool but it’s the only way to end the season. If you give Liverpool the title then do you guarantee Leicester a CL spot. Do you send Bournemouth and Villa down?
-------------------
I actually have no issue with the 22 team PL proposal (which apparently would also see Liverpool awarded the league) - I think most teams would accept it's probably the most sensible decision if we cant carry on. The only issue would be how to sort the CL places because I cant see United and Wolves being too happy with it at the moment.
Best to just wait and see how it all plays out though I guess. I dont think a single soul expects we're restarting on April 4th. Best case scenario I think is that the Euros are cancelled and we restart in May sometime.

3 weeks with no money coming in is bad enough for most clubs. They will probably start pressing for a quick return as soon as their revenues grind to a halt.
It won't have anything to do with the safety of their players or fans.
The only way the season is getting finished is behind closed doors. We aren't going to see footy fans at games for at least 6 months. Perhaps the rest of the year.
It'll probably be a month before we even see games behind closed doors, if at all. At the moment I think it's most likely the season doesn't end. And if it doesn't then it has to be voided.
