I doubt it. The gun culture in America is deeply engrained. People in the UK don’t have same attitude towards guns and never have even when they were more easily available. America’s gun culture is incomparable to anywhere in the world.
Maybe not to the same extent but in times like this morons will be morons and Britain comfortably has as many as the US.
