Just youngsters dude, they feel they’ll live forever.

Give them a few years, and they’ll be stockpiling guns next time this happens

The obsession with guns is mind boggling as well.

I know, I’ll stock up on ammunition for my AK-47 in case someone tries to steal my toilet roll

Stupid beyond measure

Honestly after reading that, I question whether the American Pie series were all documentaries?!

Probably makes more sense to stock up on ammo than toilet roll.

It's true, if you get it then you get it.

And frankly, unless there's serious isolation/complete lockdown (which there won't be), most of us are going to get it.

If you're young and healthy, may as well get it out of the way now. Then just stay away from at risk people (or more to the point, those people need to stay away from the infected general population).

Then we'll have herd immunity and be able to get past this sooner.

That's the only route left for us now after it's been left to get out of control around the world.

Tbf, if the last few years has shown anything it’s that we have officially forfeited the right to generalise any nation as “stupid”, “dumb”, “thick” etc, we’re the Americans of Europe.

Did anyone see the video posted by RT of Brits getting pi**ed up in Spain a few days ago, shirts off, ignoring Police advice to go back inside. There was the Stereophonics gig in Cardiff, packed out, people still flocked to pubs on St. Patrick’s Day too.

I currently live in Barcelona but from Manchester. every evening at 8pm people go on the balconies and aplaude the health works to show support, there have been numerous posts of people singling or playing music together on balconies, and although there was some panic buying, there have been no issues at supermarkets. There is a sense of community throughout this situation.
That is the exact opposite of the UK. There is no sense of community. Everyone focuses on their own needs, there is no empathy or consideration for others. A disaster like this is shedding light on the degradation of community and society in the UK.
