Spent a fair bit of time at the QEUH these last years. The rooms are great. Good for infection control via isolation. Patients can actually sleep. However, anything breaking stays broken and the minimum temp you can set your room at is about 25C. I know why but FS for those not in shock it is stifling. Give me an opening window every day.

Silver my bro was there less than a year after opening.

I was visiting most days & could see the chaos.

I was giving Staff at all levels directions eventually.

He had a good room, telly etc.

But he liked company and missed the chat.

And rarely saw the same staff.

He was moved to the Vale of Leven outdated 60's place.

Nightingale wards.

Same staff always - cheery, grounded and who worked as a team.

He passed away there but known & supported.

Would be great for the pubs to open again soon.
