Re-posting from coupla years back.

All campsites open later this week.

I've got 'access' to a fair amount of gear.

Tents, mats, bags, stoves, gas, waterproofs etc etc.

Anybody's hol plans scuppered you are more than welcome to borrow.

Specially families with weans.

Good way to test it before you buy.

I'm sure Admin would be gracious enough to facilitate contacts.

I took my weans camping they still talk about it 30+ y later.

Mainly positive

First time I took both my sons camping was to Callander. Keltie Bridge campsite
Still go to this day camping great fun

I'm happy to pass emails to TMQ. I gave my tents and sleeping bags to a homeless charity last year. I've gone too soft to camp. Used to be able to fish trough the night with just a jacket and a torch. No chance these days.

I bought a jacket sleeping bag combination after the Berlin wall fell. It was freezing not quite a sleeping bag and a bulky jacket
