Pandering to those clubs I am afraid to the extent that health of players and fans isn't high on their agenda.
Suggesting to play behind the doors will not stop players coming into contacts with each other so again another way of spreading this virus.

I think its possible many leagues will finish their seasons behind closed doors. If we are on lockdown still May/June then football could reopen by then.

Belarus bore the brunt of the Chernobyl disaster. A poxy virus isn't going to scare them.
First thing they need to do before even starting to think about finishing the season is work out the contract issues as this is massive for some clubs. I think between 31st May and 30th June my own club would lose 13 players either through loans or contracts ending. Bolton have something crazy like 80% of their squad on one year deals that end on 30th June. Some might be happy to sign a new deal, but what if they're not?
Until this issue is resolved and a solution in place that all clubs can agree on, there is just no way it can go on, especially if some clubs can't even field a full subs bench.

Devils advocate...What if some clubs don't want to extend those contracts? What if their plan from the start was to let those contracts run down as they desperately need to lower the wage bill and had planned to sign cheaper replacement free transfers in the summer? I know this probably seems alien to you as a supporter of one of the biggest teams in the world, but some clubs beneath you actually have to REALLY worry about wage budgets.

I like the idea of games behind closed doors as being touted on here.

About 100-150 people needed and not a clue if any are possible carry covid 18. So all needing to be in full isolation 2 weeks prior to training beginning and then being isolated as a 22 team/league and official group.

You've got to get players to accept deferrals first of all, and those players at clubs like Barcelona and Juventus won't have anywhere near the same issues with trying to live on reduced wages as a squad player at Macclesfield.

Why have some of Europe’s major clubs had players take wage cuts/deferments on wages?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm assuming that's a rhetorical question?
You've got to get players to accept deferrals first of all, and those players at clubs like Barcelona and Juventus won't have anywhere near the same issues with trying to live on reduced wages as a squad player at Macclesfield.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They still have contracts and obligations. And a finite pot of cash at any level.
Can see FFP being scratched, lots of clubs won’t survive without financial doping.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's why the non pro league got cancelled outright.
They have a proposal that will allow contracts to be extended, if reports are to be believed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Devils advocate...What if some clubs don't want to extend those contracts? What if their plan from the start was to let those contracts run down as they desperately need to lower the wage bill and had planned to sign cheaper replacement free transfers in the summer? I know this probably seems alien to you as a supporter of one of the biggest teams in the world, but some clubs beneath you actually have to REALLY worry about wage budgets.

And who is going to dope them? And if youre doping a seriously debt ridden club, then shouldn't everyone be subject to the same amount? There's a lot of answers being given to things without people really knowing what the real questions are.

Don’t be silly, FFP ensures that all clubs are on a level playing field.
