Nothing about Mourinho. If you blame anyone, you blame our chairman levy for failing to provide the right tools and players at the right time to push us forward. If Kane goes because of lack of trophies, you blame the board. They are the cause of this decline. Don’t blame Kane one bit.
Can’t blame him tbf
Levy will never share the ambition Kane has
Wouldn't begrudge him a move one bit , chances this is why Eriksen never signed a new deal , he saw what needed doing and thought fack this.

These chairmen/chief execs have skin thicker than a rhino, look at Mike Ashley for a start
Kane is too good a player to go whole his career without winning anything. Going to have a really difficult decision to make.
With everything is going on, I certainly don't see him moving this summer, but possibly next year he will reconsider.
Seems little doubt Kane is preparing to move on.
And doubtless Levy will see $$ signs in both eyes.
Real Madrid ....... here comes the offer....
Won’t begrudge him.
Just really hope it not City, Liverpool, United....
Hope it’s outside the Prem

No one in England will be able to meet Levy's asking price ...... don't worry about that!
No exactly surprising news tbh. However as long as a sizeable chunk of whatever you get for him is reinvested in the squad it might not be the worst idea to sell him anyway.
Only caveat to that being... who knows what the aftermath of the corona virus will do to the transfer market.
He pretty much said this since he became good. No story here
Blame Levy all you want, but we were in the biggest club competition final possible last year, and the players bottled it, not the chairman. Kane included.
Our recent transfer dealings have shown Levy is prepared to spend some cash, whether too little too late is irrelevant now while he was planning for the stadium, its about the progress moving forward.
Kane will be saying the same old stuff in 5/6 years time when he still won't have won anything but at least will probably have overtaken Shearer as the PL leading goalscorer leading to a 25+ year stint on MotD.
All about planning ahead.
It's pretty sad that none of us would even begrudge him going. In fact I almost hope he does as he deserves better than the current shambles.
A couple of years ago I would be gutted at the thought of him leaving but the club is a complete mess now and only going to get worse until Jose is sacked.
"I'll always love Spurs, but it's one of those things. I've always said if I don't feel like we're progressing as a team or going in the right direction, I'm not someone to stay there just for the sake of it.“
I wonder why the bbc left of the I love spurs start of that comment? Starting with the I’ll always love spurs sounds like he’s thinking of leaving soon.

If Kane leaves ....I predict there will be an exodus of other top players, like Son and maybe Lo Celso.
Assuming ENIC do not simply sell out and Levy stays....
who would you choose to manage the rebuilding effort that will be needed when Kane leaves?
And would that manager be stupid enough to work under Levy?

Now admittedly van Persie was a couple of years older then than Kane is now but, though it's always nice to hear, from experience I wouldn't put too much by any player saying how much they 'love' a club.
Levy this summer needs to spend big , none of this last minute bollix . Of course we all know what will happen.

Absolutely cannot blame him when he does leave
Apparently Kane wants to leave Spurs in search of silverware and a big club has promised to come in for him but for that to happen there has to be a transfer window which won't happen if the season isn't canceled or concluded.
The deadline is June because in August he wants to be somewhere else.
‘Next year, the gaffer now, it’ll be his first chance to really have a pre-season with the team and embed his values into the team and we’ll see what happens. Of course, I want to win, I want to win team trophies, I want to be doing it sooner rather than later. So we will have to see how it goes’
This suggests to me he’s willing to give Spurs one more season and wants to see what Mourinho can do. I think if we go another season without a trophy, he will leave after next season and he will be 27 so still young. Up to Levy now to deliver the players to compete.
IMO, he will want to know the fate of the current season first. If the season is scrapped he will stay at Spurs who will be in the CL. If the season is instead completed and Spurs aren't in the CL then I think he will seriously consider his options.
