It was windy, high winds prevented Titanic from undergoing her sea trials. She remained in Belfast, where Edward J. Smith assumed command, relieving Herbert J. Haddock.
They should have stayed with the fish man !

Rose was actually called Beatrice, and lived to be 105.
That Edward J Smith, was an accident waiting to happen !
One of my family member was the one of the last survivors of the Titanic.
Google her name if you're interested - "Edith Haisman"
