You are wrong A Foxes Voice, Andy King deserves all the adulation Dungeon Master could possibly give him for his contribution over the years at our club.

Despite every manager coming in and dropping him, he worked hard in training, didn’t complain and worked his way in to every single team under every manager.

He definitely needs a testimonial.

I also think it’s time to bring back Ranieri to say goodbye to the fans and let us say thank you to him for guiding us to the premier league title.

Yes, a foxes voice, he should have been given a testimonial. I echo all your sentiments but I’m sure there are a good many ex-City players who also didn’t get one for whatever reason. I’m not in a position to be able to name them right now, but perhaps I’ll check it out.

Hi downsouf, no need to be so formal, I'm generally known as AFV on here.

Please do check it out, I'd be very interested in the result of that. I can't think of any in my memory period

I think with Testimonials they were a way for the Player to get one last pay off before probable retirement in the days of earning £50 quid a week.

I definitely think he deserves one though, maybe a Charity match.

Three title wins from three leagues....... That alone should acclaim an award?

Love Lineker but he effed off to Everton for $850,000...

King was loyal to a hilt. Name a street after him!

Maybe rename Mandela park? The one next to the nick.

Isn’t he at the end of his contract this summer?

But yes, he should have had a testimonial, and it probably should have been this summer. But, you know, circumstances.

Yes, definitely should have a testimonial.

Probably not in the very near future though. It might lose some of its intent in an empty stadium.

I spent a little time looking things up foxy. This is far, far from the “finished article” and there must be countless others to consider and I shall continue my quest. Needless to say, they all thoroughly deserved it. On the negative side I never got to see a single testimonial match.

downs

Paul Ramsey
Gordon Banks
Peter Shilton
Steve Walsh
Alan Woollett
Tommy Williams
Steve Whitworth
Graham Cross
Mike Stringfellow
Mark Wallington
John Sjoberg

Surely Conrad is in line for one?

Conrad fits the criteria but, as someone said, he'd spend the game on the bench.

Remember going to a few of those listed but can't remember which one Shilton played up front.

Good to hear from you Dublin - was wondering how you are doing?
