I live in a flat with no garden. It is frustrating not being able to just sit outside. However I have been going for a run every few days, alone of course, and keeping my distance from others.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good man.
You can get out daily, mate.
I wear fancy dress, so have gear for cycling, running and walking.
Up in court on Wednesday lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was that you dressed as that Bush that's been sneaking out ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank fook we have a back garden as at least I have the trampoline and swing there for the hooligan
Whilst I don’t think the govt have handled this well, they handled it a shed load better than trump did
There are people disobeying lockdown restrictions all over the world. Its the human condition not unique to the British.

Orwell was right.
Government will just be stricter if people keep breaking the rules, they should of been stricter from the start, 2 weeks sooner if anything.
It's being handled abysmally, anyone who claims otherwise is merely protecting their own mental wellbeing because they know that they've put these utter clowns in charge and it's going to cost thousands of lives.
Hancock has just said all outdoor exercising will be banned if people continue so that’s definitely going to happen then

The worrying thing is that it is down to the general public to beat this thing and I dont have much faith in the general public. Saw a group of lads playing football in a park yesterday on a walk. Saw a group of girls walking together, must have been 8 or them. Where are their parents?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This this this
It is the same problem over here. The only ones I see flouting the current rules are bunches of teenagers.
Agree where are the parents?
I’ll tell you where they don’t want to look after them and are sick of being pestered can they go out. (Not correct but that’s what happening)
There are also a portion of completely selfish bell end barstewards who just don’t care

That isn`t funny mate. Give it a rest.
I'll be pretty annoyed if they ban exercise. I've been doing a reasonable amount of running recently and virtually everyone is taking social distancing seriously, ie people cross the road to avoid each other, run around to avoid getting within 2m.
People going out to sunbathe/ meeting friends should be given on the spot fines. Would be very unfair on the vast majority of good citizens who observe social distancing properly and just need to get out of the house for 30 mins to clear their head.

Our severe measures are to be reviewed next Sunday (even if working I reckon they’ll be extended)
If they ban going out to get fresh air while maintaining social distancing because of a few idiots then I can imagine a scenario akin to the disgruntled US postal worker if you get my point
‘Our Leader we know caught the virus nearly three weeks back, and has not really been seen since.‘
He caught it 9 days ago (at least this is when it was announced he tested positive) and is literally following PHE and WHO guidance to stay self-isolated since.

7 days isolation once you show symptoms/test positive. Fact is he's in the danger bracket in terms of age/ being overweight etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True this is official UK advice. It is under scrutiny though - WHO recommends 14 days and it is shown in research / other viruses of similar nature that once symptoms start you can remain a vector for spreading illness for ~14 days. No one really knows where the 7 day figure UK got is from I believe. If I got it I would definitely be self-isolating for closer to the 2 week period.

This
I’ve been running quite a bit, including earlier today. Virtually ever runner is taking social distancing seriously and whenever I overtake someone or pass someone I give a wide berth as do they to me. The only times I’ve seen people taking the pisss is groups of more than two loitering together who clearly aren’t family.
I’d be very angry if outside exercise was banned. In any case I doubt they will because the health and obesity implications of such a ban are serious.
I do at least an hour a day walking & sometimes extend it to two hours if I felled it. We also have quite a largish garden (3/4 acre) so lots of grass to be cut & planted the potatoes yesterday🥔)
Plus my other half (she is the gardener not me) also likes me to chop down bushes & prune the trees.
As I am a golfer, I have set up a small area down the bottom of the garden to practise chipping, plus I already have a net that allows me to pretend I am hitting 300 yard drives!🙄😅

Afternoon Genius, this time of the year I would normally be doing four or five hour walks, but am now down to 20 minute walks, just a couple of times a week.
