Aston Villa fan. Utter twaaaat that used to wait up until 10.59pm then write his s** so nobody could reply to him as bbc 606 used to close the threads at 11pm. Guy was a complete bell piece who used to post pointless stats about how villa were better than Spurs. Was completely obsessed with Spurs to. What a total c***.

I think Jinky/Jungle is the greatest story from ja606, however this thread is about best/most memorable personalities. The protagonists, the antagonists. I don’t think he quite fits.
United board have had a lot of weirdos thinking about it. That list above, plus Shameless Smith. He’s long gone now, he actually also used to post videos of himself ranting on YouTube like Matth. And then later went on to develop the Pedro obsession
The Pedro obsession genuinely made me laugh out loud. Comedy genius. It started out lowkey. The odd article about Pedro, how he’s a good player, and United should sign him. Nothing out the ordinary. Articles start getting more frequent, maybe the odd statement about how good looking Pedro is. Bit odd. Within a few months he’s posting detailed intimate novellas about dreams of meeting Pedro in a cave and having his way with him
The other legend who I’m ashamed to say I’ve only just remembered is Capello from the Chelsea board. Again he made some genuine laugh out loud moments. His ‘chopper’, his submarine, creating match threads just to speak to himself throughout..my guy

I read the Reddit thread about it and there was one guy who posted a similar story from his boxing forum about a girl who knew her stuff. She had posted a photo of herself and a load of the guys were sceptical. So she posted a few more photos, holding up her username on a piece of paper and date etc. The guys were then convinced and some liking her, had phone calls etc with her. Finally one guy went on a date with her and after stated it was very strange and she didn't know anything about boxing. The girl subsequently said the guy was a weirdo who stalked her, hassled her etc. The guy was marginalised by members of the forum and banned, due to this.
I think that guy teamed up with another member to unravel the truth, which they did by finding her Facebook page. Turns out the girl was a 50 year old, who had used her niece's photos and forced her to go on the date.

Jinky/jungle wasn’t a wum
He was a guy who got caught up in a lie and chose a brilliantly mental way out of it
There was anger from some at the time(perhaps underdstandably) bug he just couldn’t find a way out
On reflection it gave us the best day I’ve had in here
Vividly remember sitting crying with laughter in my local pub as the thread unfolded trying to explain it to guys in pub was impossible

Not just the best day for you, the greatest moment in the history of the site by absolute miles. It’s so funny, the guy doing a marathon in his memory of the fictional character

I read the Reddit thread about it and there was one guy who posted a similar story from his boxing forum about a girl who knew her stuff. She had posted a photo of herself and a load of the guys were sceptical. So she posted a few more photos, holding up her username on a piece of paper and date etc. The guys were then convinced and some liking her, had phone calls etc with her. Finally one guy went on a date with her and after stated it was very strange and she didn't know anything about boxing. The girl subsequently said the guy was a weirdo who stalked her, hassled her etc. The guy was marginalised by members of the forum and banned, due to this.
I think that guy teamed up with another member to unravel the truth, which they did by finding her Facebook page. Turns out the girl was a 50 year old, who had used her niece's photos and forced her to go on the date.

Heroes? There have been many regular posters who have used this site to post intelligent and informative articles, the purpose it was designed for. Unfortunately there have been just as many idiots who try to spoil the site with immature or offensive comments. I will just keep deleting moronic comments and enjoy those from the well-mannered regulars who can accept a different opinion from their own.
