Seemingly he has no symptoms? Went into hospital with an infection and tested positive
Hope Kenny is OK, my first football hero when I was a lad, magnificent player
According to the media he’s asymptomatic and his family expect him to be home soon. Hope he recovers.
Hope he's ok.
One of my heroes from my early teens.
Not the best Celtic player of that era but not far behind him.
A world class player who could have walked into any team of any generation and just played. A brilliant football brain.
Hopefully it will be a long-time before we have to write his obituaries. When Kenny goes it will effect millions.
Mags
Saw him at one of my first games ever, could still play today with his style, finishing, link play and touch
i wonder how many other ppl have had the virus and remained asymptomatic without ever knowing
loads i bet
Have to give it several days.
Apparently your body can over react and attack itself so hopefully he breezes through this

While infecting away too.
hates him as a player and a manager
laughed at his last turn out as it was funny to see a legend of an enemy so far out of his depth.
but, that hate and animosity was carved out of utmost respect.
get well soon KK.
He will be fine lads , all the best Kenny

I can’t imagine how anyone can come to the conclusion that a man who was out of the game for so long - came back into the fold and led his team to two cup finals (winning one) was ‘out of his depth’
It seems to me that you were so desperate for a laugh that you decided to just laugh at, well... anything.
Wishing the King a speedy recovery.

Andy Carrol, Charlie Adam, stewart downing.
the complete lack of emotional intelligence or modern day understanding of how to handle the Luis Suarez affair.
labelling the carling cup as more important than a top 4 finish.
once again, he was a legend first time round.
hope he gets well soon.
Used to hate seeing him play. He was such a great player!
All the very best to him. Hope he's completely recovered very soon.
Loved watching Dalglish play ......for Livepool, but no so much Celtic.
Heard he is doing, ok so best of luck from a Rangers fan in peace.

There's something really weird about the statement given by the family, as quoted by BBC:
"Prior to his admission to hospital, Sir Kenny had chosen to voluntarily self-isolate for longer than the advised period together with his family. He would urge everyone to follow the relevant government and expert guidance in the days and weeks ahead."
If he and his whole family were self isolating and had been self isolating for longer than the recommended period, how has he got coronavirus?
A member of his family must have got the virus and passed it down the chain through the Family one by one - or they are not actually self isolating but following lockdown rules which means going out to shops and for exercise etc
I sincerely hope he is okay but quotes like the above should never be given out.
And... Intravenous antibiotics for an infection? That could be as simple as having stubbed a toe opening up a wound or athletes foot introducing a bad infection.
KD was always a legend on the field. If he remains asymptomatic maybe he becomes a legend again by his blood helping produce a vaccine
the complete lack of emotional intelligence or modern day understanding of how to handle the Luis Suarez affair.

Yeah.
Should have just laughed it off, and accussed Evra of playing the race card.
Worked for Ferguson.

You forgot to add Luis Suarez and Jordan Henderson. Or maybe they hindered your argument?
As for labelling the cup more important than a top 4 finish. Is this really something that had you laughing? Arsenal and Wenger were torn to shreds for putting top 4 above silverware.
I think you’re hatred of Liverpool is making you amused at, well... anything. Seems desperate.
henderson, signed how many years ago, berated by your fans for so long now finally nearly a decade later is apparently showing his worth, despite being the worst footballer in your side is justification for KK being a success?
ok he signed Suarez, who promptly left you for a decent gig.
anyone on ja606 could sign that many players and 1 would be a success.
but its funny the cup over league argument a few of you are making
same few who have defender herr Klopp for his priortising league over domestic cups
I smell hypocrisy
