I didn’t say they had NO blame.
That still doesn’t excuse the shockingly slow and incompetent response from our political leaders.

What’s going to happen?
Silly article. Everybody knows it originated in China. But China did not spread it around the world by plane, that is down to all other countries. Still hearing Heathrow is accepting 15,000 passengers a day landing without any tests. That is down to Britain, not China.
Everyone knows where it come from , there still lying about figures imo , 3.000 dead only fack off !
What's the point in having an ambassador in Beijing?
How did all this happen without her or her staff noticing?
Is she already compromised by the Chinese, or did she just sit on her arsē the whole time and fail to phone home?
Why is the staff at our Beijing embassy tweeting nothing more than a constant stream of cringey photos of themselves flagging off emergency medical shipments?
What's the point of our foreign intelligence agencies?
Did none of them see the early videos of Chinese agents in hazmat suits sealing off entire neighbourhoods and imposing draconian lockdowns?
Did none of them put two and two together after they saw images of panicked Chinese citizens walking around with homemade face-shields fashioned out of plastic bottles?
Is our government planning on simply blaming the Russians for withholding information when we wake up one day and find our ports blockaded by their Northern Fleet?
Anyone running with this WHO sideshow is nothing short of disingenuous.

To be fair Chronic, Corona is the biggest thing on most people`s minds at the moment. Football has all but been forgotten.
Football will only resurface, when the current season is abandoned in all probability, and then there will be hundreds of Liverpool supporters crying foul.

Deaths from other illnesses have gone up too, people are too scared to present at hospitals.
Do you reckon if extraterrestrial life forms made contact with us the world would want to study them and learn , the Chinese would want to see how they taste.
The world is now too connected, a village. Health is a top priority by obvious consensus. Everyone values health, no doubt.
Covid and other highly infectious diseases/pandemics are showing us something we can't control anymore. Even the global financial crises we face.
The conspiracy theorists will jeez their pants, but ultimately, one world government will very very slowly eventually become the most obvious answer.
Nations cannot be left to their devices while they have the power to destroy one another through their own actions. Whether its disease or collapsing the banking industry, the scourge can come from anywhere and wipe you out, even if you did everything right.
There's never been more of a case for giving international organisations the power to overule nations. This is already happening in matters of health. Eg. China need to be forced into regulations for their wet markets (which are now open) and any other dangerous situations. Also, they need to comply with international agencies, not international agencies complying with China. This will allow WHO to ignore China and do their own work.
In future nations will also need to be externally observed and regulated by an international financial organisation etc.
That's health and finance, probably the two most important facets of world economy.
I can see such things happening in the fairly distant future whether people like it or not. We are at its beginning stages. People will resist but catastrophe after catastrophe will see this resistance mutated into a welcoming committee.
