Great film and demonstrates what a flawed genius Cloughie was. Shame it didn’t work out, Leeds United would have gone on to win even more silverware.
Cloughie or the likes of Jimmy Adamson......, hmmm!
I love the film, recorded it to watch later. It's good although Leeds are portrayed rather negatively. Micheal Sheen is excellent in it.

Worst casting ever.

Surprised at you saying that tbh. Sheen is fantastic as usual, I thought Colm Meaney does a solid job as Don Revie (although he'll always be remembered as the dad in The Commitments to me...), and Timothy Spall (Taylor) and Stephen Graham (Bremner) are two of the finest British actors of their generation.
I've owned it since in came out on DVD and whilst it has its flaws, it's a solid 7/10 for me.

One small thing, Clough’s accent sounds more derby than Boro

Not surprised you liked the film based on the hatchet job of a book written by a Huddersfield fan.

Crikey, chill your beans. I never knew David Peace was a Huddersfield fan tbh. I've not read the book though I have read Red or Dead, another book he did based on Shankly, and I thought that was excellent.

It was the casting for the players it was absolutely awful, completely unrecognisable.

Main management side characters I thought did a good job but the players had a hatchet job done on their reactions and characters. I bet it really upset any Leeds players as a true reflection of their attitude to Clough. Sheen gave his usual excellent performance. Filled in this afternoon in the sun in the garden shielding my tablet so I could make out the action.
Though it win the Best Worst Film Award
The NAFF NUFF Said Film Award
The game needs more managers like Clough. I bet he wouldn't apologise for offending anyone in today's interviews or on Twitter.
To be honest, I've tried to watch it 3 times but couldn't get though it.. not because of any poor quality, I just take it really personally the way they portray Leeds United
it might be a brilliant film for all I know, too much emotion invested it all for me.
I'd prefer to see Leeds in a good light, like in one of Jontys JA606 articles, for example
Sheen was excellent as Clough. Was great as Chris Tarrant too!
Saw the stage play at Leeds Playhouse a few years ago with my daughter. Thought it focused mainly on the relationship between Clough and Taylor, unless my memory is failing me!
We were both impressed by the fact that it was mainly the two characters on stage most of the time and were in awe of the fact they could remember all their lines!
