Poor gk, poor defense. Junior was good going forward but could not defend. Cerezo was strong, Socrates, Falcao n Zico grate and Eder ocasionally grate.
No striker tho due 2 injuries n voodoo.

That Hungary side only lost one game between 1950 and 1956 - that Germany game.
Hungary beat them 8-3 in the group stages as well.
the hungarians were 2-0 up after 8 minutes aswell

The ironic thing as well is that the Hungarians felt cheated by a terrible referee in the final.

They reached finale in 38 also but were psyched out by Italy coach spending all game standing just behind their gol n staring at the gk.

i noted that nowhere in the ultimates was a germa team included.
Given they were in 3 consecutive finals from 72 to 1980 and in the 1992 and 1996 finals this would seem rather an omission no?
