Good article, but you got a bit wrong, it`s actually 30 years since they last the title.
Hence the question mark beside the 27.
Champers - hop back over the Pennines and worry some sheep or whatever is is you do for recreation over there.
Looks like a load of aliens have landed on here.
Trying to complete the season (however that may be) is a complete minefield in terms of integrity and what is right and proper. Questions would need to be asked about the morality of it also.
We all know what the common sense course of action should be, (barring the fans of a select few clubs and Don the Parrot), but the greed of the money men is what is pushing this high-risk fantasy of resuming the season.
A small handful of clubs will have to suck it up and be done with it.

Be quite up for some kinda of 5-a-side comp to finish things off.
Would save on the need for ball boys. An issue no one has really mentioned (thought about).

Use ball girls instead. They are less susceptible.
The French government took ridiculous ideas like restarting footie behind closed doors off the table by banning sporting events until Sept.
Lets hope our lot have the sense to do the same so we can look forward to a complete domestic 20/21 season, instead of trying to flog a dead horse.
The disgusting greed of the money men would have players die from this until even they are completely backed into a corner. By then it'll all be too late. Football is a contact sport unless your Neymar. Hundreds will still be dying daily on May 25th, Jun 25th, July 25th and onward. Easing the lockdown will see to that. More chance of squad members, Club workers, anyone involved with getting 2 teams on a closed pitch to play a football game that long should've been null and void. Not to mention players anxiety about wanting too play. Despite what they may say in the press.
Void the season, give Pool the title. It's deserved but will always be tainted.
Void season completely like it never happened.
This average points finish I hear about is truely ludicrous and will destroy any credibility of the Premier League.
Behind closed doors when it's safe. How long could that be? That can't drag on much longer.
The only viable, humane, right thing to do is null and void.
Bad luck to the teams that have alot to lose but life is life. Life is more important. The greasy execs that want it all back now couldn't give 2 5 h 1 t5 about the players or the fans anyway.

Totally agree. At a time like this sport pales into insignificance. Sites like this where we can discuss our favoutite sports will have to suffice. There still seems to be a little bit of aggro here which may satisfy those who think it is an integral part of sport
